Getting NAPA installed Monday. It’s 6 hours away, but we are going to be in the area anyway. I have a good friend that owns a NAPA store, so boom. There it is.

Check the ship date tag on it. These new charging systems don't like batteries that have been on the shelf for some months. And match up AGM or standard for sure.

Costco battery here. The nicer AGM one.
Pain in the ass changing it on this truck. Every other Chevy I own it’s a 60 second task.

You replaced your standard battery with an AGM battery on that 2019? Does the charging system work OK with that? My 2019 has a standard (huge) H7 wet acid battery.

I have a Interstate agm in my 18 works fine, it's been in there for over 3 years now and that is pretty good for Hot california weather (heat kills)

This is what I currently have in my Suburban, works excellent, cranks very good, very resistant to temp swings especially SoCal heat waves. And changing it didn’t cause any codes or issues… shit my wife installed it over FaceTime while I was on the road…. Expensive yes, but in my opinion well worth it.
