I'm not sure if you know this or not. But on those center caps some of them are just an aluminum decal and can be removed. Just peel, wipe off with acetone, and Polish. It helps to gently pry back the tabs and remove the metal part from plastic so you don't melt it. The other ones without the...
Minus the distributor, and annoying threaded fuel line that's conveniently tucked back behind the drivers head on the 5.7. I like everything about working on the LS based engines. Stupid simple over older generations. Last engine swap I did on one of the newer trucks only took me about 7 hours...
Same problem here. At a minimum we usually have 2 but at max 5 it's a confusing situation haha. I've been looking at the jl 10" vented power wedge.

I've been debating this, just don't know if it will be enough for me. I'm used to far more, but with third row I don't have much space to spare since will still need that tiny bit of cargo room for road trip's. I know it won't hit quite like my previous setups I've had in other vehicles.

Oh it's one of the rears. I figured it was the front. But I totally understand. We just had issues with aftermarket parts.

Not sure how you feel about the oem part, but I've had bad luck with the aftermarket regulators through the shop I used to work at. Stopped selling the Dorman, and starter buying the Delco from Rock Auto and usually no issues unless the window guides need adjusted/lubed.

You shouldn't have to strip it all off. If the paint is properly adhered then all you need to do is scuff the surface and use that as your base. It will stick as long as it's smooth and not glossy anymore.

Idk if he is a member here or not. Or if he left the 1.75 spacers on but here is info from gmfs. He has 285's though. Just to give an idea.

If they rub, just trim a little off. If done right you can't tell, unless you know to look for it.
A 295 is not more than 1/2" taller than most 285's, a little wider yes. So basically a 1/4" closer to rubbing than you are now.
