Yes, you retain the stock button. This unit plugs into the stock harness just like the orginal, under the hood by the break booster. It even snaps right into the factory bracket.
On most cars? How would you know that? The higher the RPM the more oil you will have up in the block and wraping around the crank. It would also depend on how hot your oil is.
You know I haven’t even had the cap off of the reservoir tank, but if I remember it just looks like a regular cap. These systems would have to be sealed and pressurized with a pressure valve somewhere (like a regular radiator cap), then when the systems cools it would suck fluid out of the...
I would like to flush the antifreeze in the Yukon but without a radiator cap how would I get the antifreeze back in the system? Would I just pour it in to the overflow? Also is there a bleed valve or something if I have to pour it into the overflow?
They are both fully charged, It may also be the old battery pulling the two down. I'm gong to buy a matching battery like the one I put in a week ago and be done with it.
You know, it must be pulling from the 2nd battery because I did put the meter on the 2nd battery (not disconnected) and started the car and it pulled it down to 11v. while starting and then went to 14.8 charging. I do also have the neg. connected to the head on the motor. I guess I should be...
I had the pos. disconnected on my main battery, I'll try disconnecting the neg. on the main battery and see what that does. Thanks, I do a google search on that also.

Ok, just tried disconnecting the neg. on...
I used a test light and tested the lug on the starter. This was the lug on the pasenger side. This lug had power when the car was off and the other lug had nothing, that is how I determined what lug to use. So as I was in process I just wanted to see if the extra battery would start the car and...
Ok, just did the dual battery setup, if I disconnect the main batter and leave the extra battery hooked up should I be able to start the car? I tried this and although I didn't try to start the car none of my dash lights came on. I hooked the main battery back up and all was good, both batteries...
I would think after the vehicles VIN is tagged that it has been done the technician isn’t going to go hunting for it. I just had my Denali in to replace the steering rack and they didn’t mess with it.
I have the split bench in the very back of my Yukon, and when it’s in the folded up position, the passenger’s side is loose and rattles when driving. Anyone have this same issue and have a fix for it?
Thanks! And it does have a posi, I found it on the window sticker, so I'll use additive.
Is the Transfer Case Fluid 2.0 qts. DEXRON®-VI Automatic Transmission Fluid correct? With no additive? What transfer case would it have? The casting says Borgwarner AZ91D.
I was looking to do the front/rear differentials along with the transfer case on my wife’s 2008 Yukon Denali. I was looking for capacities and verification on the fluids. Also do the differentials have gaskets or can I just use permatex? Would this vehicle be considered a 2500 or a 1500...
Thank you for the explanation, do you have any pictures showing the routing of the wiring you ran? I am thinking of doing this and that would help alot, because I would like it to look all stock. I assume all the parts listed would be the same for my 2008?
