No, aftermarket anything. And when she first done it when it was new it was in the ON position and drained that battery, and I can understand that. This has been into the dealer at least twice for this and they never found a problem. I've had it in ACC positon and it killed the batter a few...
When the car was new my wife let the kids watch TV while she was in the doctors for a half hour and had to get a jump after. I assumed she had the key in the run position and that killed the battery. We took it to the dealer and they said all was good. Well a few more times after that the car...
The one's in the head rest in my opinion are the way to go. I had them in my Trail Blazer SS, this car is in the over head and get in the way of my rear view mirror.
I think 1qt at 2k is more like what they can get away with without fixing it. I’d like to see a poll on how much oil everyone uses. My guess is most will not be near that rate.
Get some MAF cleaner (can get a can at autozone) and spray it down real good. Some times oil from the oiled air filter will get on the MAF and make it run bad.
GM will not buy back a used car, only new cars if lemon lawed. You have to go farther up the food chain to get things done. Like the regional manager for that dealer.
I'm sure you would have to purchase a warranty. If you purchase a warranty only get the GMPP warranty. Also on the piston slap issue, they said to replace everything from the engine block up? If they don't replace the pistons how would that fix the issue? Does the slap only happen before the...
motor sounds fine, and changed the oil again to make sure it was the correct weight. Where would the sender be on a 6.0 2006? I guess I could unplug the sender and see if that does anything.
Ok, the mother-in-laws oil pressure is pegged at 80 psi. When I turn the key to run position the gauge peggs at the high end before the car is even started. Then when I start it, it stays at the same place, never moves. Any ideas? I'm thinking it's a bad cluster? When it is in accessory position...
No, it just started from zero and started counting again like it was a new car. It was kind of a nice feature to know how many hours are on the motor just like the miles on your car. But if they are giong to put these features on a vehicle I would expect them to work. It's kind of pointless...
My wife killed the battery washing it yesterday with the ignition on and not running. I jumped it and all my settings stayed but the engine hours were reset to zero? Anyone else had this happen, should I take it in for this?
I took my Denali in a few months ago because the cover for the hitch kept falling off. Well they had a fix for it, and I got a new cover and fixed the problem! I didn't pay much more attension to it and was taking it off over the week end and I just noticed they drilled two holes in my bumper...
