    Switched to a 03 6.0 Yukon from 05 5.3 Tahoe, seems sluggish

    The 2500 XL prob weighs roughly ~1000lbs more and the LQ4 6.0 doesn't make much more power than the 5.3, its gonna feel slower, that being said it is also a 15 year old vehicle and probably needs a tuneup, i.e. new air filter, new fuel filter, new spark plugs and wires, oil change, flush...

    ^^^True Unicorn right there Pic of said truck...it is indeed a VortecMAX with L76 and MYC interesting it has GT4 3.73, I believe the L76 4l70e trucks all have GT5 4.10s Now I am wondering if it was ever possible to get a 6l80e (MYC) with 4.10s (GT5)

    Interesting...now that you mention it I do recall hearing of some 6.0 Avalanches, I know they offered the 6.2s in the Avalanche only in 2010 but I believe ONLY in Canada...I would love to hear some production numbers on the Burb, Yuk XL and Avalanche with the 6.0, especially the 09's with 6l80e...

    I believe the only way you could get the Aluminum L76 6.0 in the GMT900 platform was with the 07 and 08 Silverados and Sierras with the VortecMAX package (Also came in the Pontiac G8 GTs and Police Package Caprices although there are some slight differences even though they share the same...

    VortecMAX package was only available on 06-08 Silverado/Sierra and they all had the LQ9 (06-07 NBS) or L76 6.0 (07-08 NNBS), the package was never offered on any SUVs...stuck a badge on there bc it has the 6.2, although a 6.2 Tahoe is definitely a unicorn...before the VortecMAX option GM offered...

    The new Lincoln Navigators are pretty clean...New 10 Speed co-developed with GM, same engine as the new Raptor, 510 lb-ft @ 3,000 rpm so Im sure it should drive way better than the Denali, and the reviews have all been VERY positive....

    just replace the motor mounts, and while you are at it might as well just pull the engine when you replace the mounts and rebuild it with new gaskets and lifters, get the heads refreshed, throw a little cam in there and delete the AFM and you'll be good to go for another 200k+ miles...also you...
