    Installing brake flasher module

I was riding with a friend yesterday and we got rear-ended by a distracted (texting) driver. Fortunately everyone is okay, and there is only minor damage to his truck, but it made me want to finally pull the trigger on a mod I've been considering for awhile - a brake flasher module in the 3rd...

    Future 2020/21 Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban

I guess to me, the IRS is a concession I'm afraid could lead to future concessions. The last thing I want is for the Tahoe/Suburban to become more crossover-esque. The next generation might add IRS only, but the next after that might bring softer styling, a lower ride height, and Heaven forbid...

    BFG KO2's or Ridge Grapplers

If those are your two options, I don't think you can go wrong with either one. I had E-rated Nitto Terra Grappler G2s on my 1500, and they were great tires - hardly showed any wear after 35k miles, rode smooth at 38psi, and had hardly any noise at all. Even though the Ridge Grapplers have a more...

    More than ever confusion

I guess that's the tradeoff of having a solid rear axle - less cargo space in the hatch and less headroom in the 3rd row. A tradeoff that's worth it IMO.

Show off your 2015+ leveled Tahoes and Yukons!

That looks great, it's good to see someone going with a less wheel/more tire combo.

    Need help with suspension

Thanks, I'll give that a try and pick up those Z71 bumpers too. Mine aren't quite as bad as yours were, but they're definitely cracked and looking a little tired. Eventually I want to replace every steering component except for inner/outer tie rod ends (previous owner had them replaced with...

    Need help with suspension

Besides the shape being different, are the Z71 stops the same height as the non-Z71 stops? Also, have you replaced your steering stabilizer? I was trying to last weekend when I found out that the stud is pressed into the center link, eventually gave up trying to get it out and just put...

tahoe z71 with leveling kit and stock wheels with 285s? pics please

Some people have done 3" levels on 4x4s but it's sketchy. I would not recommend with the stock UCAs.

    HD suburban

I keep a saved search on cars.com for used K2XX 3500s. I can't afford one, it's more for curiosity. They pop up every once in awhile, right now there's a 2016 with 16k miles for $68k and a 2017 with 30k miles for $67k.

    Future 2020/21 Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban

Now I'm worried because this website seems absolutely certain that the next gen Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade will use IRS. The strength and simplicity of a solid axle has always been a selling point for me, so I hope this isn't true. Any thoughts/rumors?

    Tow mirror trouble

Yeah, I think I'll order my next set from a reputable seller/manufacturer, even if it costs a bit more. Do you have any suggestions for where to buy quality NNBS tow mirrors?

    Tow mirror trouble

Thanks. I've already returned them, I pulled them apart and found no way to adjust the stop points. The weird thing is that the passenger side gave me a great field of view, it was the driver's side that was the problem.

    Tow mirror trouble

Hi all, I just got some Amazon OE-style tow mirrors and installed them last night. Driving around today, I realized there was something wrong with the driver's side mirror - even with the glass adjusted all the way outward, all I could see was the side of the truck. It was pretty much unusable...

will you get a RST Suburban

It's good to see the 6.2 finally being offered on the Suburban. However, I'm not a fan of the RST aesthetic or sport appearance packages on body on frame SUVs in general. Leave that stuff for the crossovers. If they offer the 6.2 (or upcoming I6 diesel) on any trim that can be equipped with 4x4...

Let's see some pics of some lifted and leveled

That's a really rare color. I see Blue Topaz Silverados on rare occasion, but I don't think I've ever seen it on an Avalanche besides yours.

2016 Suburban ltz issues after leveling kit

So this kit looks like it has a very small lower spacer (looks like .25" for ".5 of level) which means that the remaining 1.75" should come from an upper spacer. Is it possible that they did not properly tighten the bolts that mount the upper spacer to the frame's shock tower OR the bolts that...

WTB: NNBS Chevrolet OE Liftgate Emblem

I had no idea that new ones were so much - I'm seeing $60-65 on eBay and Amazon. If anyone is debadging their NNBS Tahoe/Suburban and has a good condition liftgate emblem to get rid of, I'd be glad to buy it from you. Thanks! Even a link to a better deal on an OE emblem would be a huge help.

CST 4.5" front lift on 2017 Suburban 4x4

Look forward to seeing it. Unfortunately I don't believe Z71 coils are longer. But I believe Moog makes a longer set of replacement coils.

Traded in the 2016 Yukon Denali for a 2018 GMC Acadia Denali

Thanks for the reply. It looks much better with the 18s than the 20s. I'm glad that's offered, since every picture I've seen of an All Terrain package online has had 20s. Good to see the AWD settings are exclusive as well.

Traded in the 2016 Yukon Denali for a 2018 GMC Acadia Denali

I had no idea that the Acadia had an all terrain package. Had to look it up. I'm sorry, not hating on your Acadia, this is more of a rant against GM branding, but what about it makes it "all-terrain?" It's got no added ground clearance above any other Acadia trim, 20" wheels on street tires with...

    2016 Yukon Denali

Sounds like a good plan to me, and the 18s will give you more sidewall while still looking good on a Denali - depending on what kind of rims you get. Do you have any in mind? 33 is a great size on K2XXs with a level. I'd avoid the 6" and 35 combo, but not because it looks bad - because of the...
