    Excellent. I'll let them know. 300k miles on theirs, but it's in really good shape. I'd hate to see them give up the ghost on it because of some goofy computer shenanigans. Yup. Just did my positive battery terminal on my Dodge this way a month ago.

    Yyyyup.... which is why I abandoned the idea. Ours isn't 4wd, but it has an eletronic traction control button in the spot where the 4x4 controls would go. Not giving up ETC when we're moving to a place where it snows and is prone to icy roads. ....but this give me hope!

    @05Single Front end looks amazing with that SS grille. The rest of it is lookin' sharp too! Me neither but it makes sense now that he pointed it out. Chevy does a really good job of masking it.

    I've actually had really good luck with the Vinyl and Fabric paint made by Duplicolor. It's specifically made for interior plastics, vinyl, and cloth upholstry. I mean.... paint's still gonna scratch, it's paint... but it doesn't peel, flake off, or fade like regular old rustoleum on plastic parts.

    Wife says it still stinks inside the truck haha.... I'm sure something got cooked, but at least there's no fire. Everything else in the truck works fine so it seems at this point that it was isolated to the audio wiring. Plan now is just to run power wires to the sony amp out of the way enough...
