This threat is a good reminder of why we should rust protect those parts whenever we have the tank down.

Rusted fuel line/ remove fuel filter

I would'nt worry about replacing the nuts. Things don't have to be perfect. The no start could be a bad ground. These are know for them, there are YouTube vids on that.

LOL wow. I guess you will have to pull a radiator hose off, maybe a heater hose too, in order to flush it.

Rear Defrost connector repair- seems tricky and requires 3 hands???

I am thinking to clean the oxidation off, heat the connector and stick it on the old solder. It should reflow it briefly and not heat up the glass enough to cause a bad day.

Bad noise. A/C compressor or Tensioner Pulley

That absolutely sounds like a bearing noise to me, most likely the tensioner pulley. I would not be inclined to replace the compressor at this stage, I'd be replacing the tensioner and belt. while at it, I'd replace the tensioner and idler pulley on the serpentine belt also.

    Rusted fuel line/Replace fuel filter

If I remember correctly, you need 2 wrenches- one to hold the fuel filter and the other to loosen the line.

Hey all, I am looking at purchasing this system to help maintain and diagnose my 01 Tahoe. I just need to make sure that I can use this to diagnose some things like why my 'security' light comes on with doors closed, interior light does not turn on when opening driver door and ABS system purge...

    Bad pcm?

Listen for the fuel pump running when you turn the key, If not, then swap the FP relay with the A/C relay and retry. Of course make sure you do have fuel in the tank.

2000 Yukon-Long warm up time - partial heater core restriction possibly?

If the engine cools off while idling, I'd be looking at the fan clutch. It may be seized. If the engine warms when stopped, but cools when driving, that's an indication for a stuck open thermostat. Both are easy to replace.

Missing high side A/C port cap, & A/C inop 04 Tahoe

The high side port fails frequently to where I made a habit of it to replace it during any service that entails evacuating the system. I frequently see it not sealing again after connecting my gauge set. Sometimes it can be made to seal just by working the valve a bit (connecting and...

    Idling issues

wouldnt this be a classic symptom of a failing IAC valve? You could clean it and get more life out of it, but it is probably in decline after having been sticky. Not cheap to replace, therefore I'd clean it to verify the cause.

    A/C issues

If it was just the clutch that failed, I would not see a need for replacing the evap and condenser... If the compressor failed internally, it would be prudent to at least replace the condenser. No debris should make it to the evaporators through the orfice tube. I would assume the clutch burned...
