    P0335 (crank pos sensor) issue

Have this feeling it's still battery related. I wonder if it is just the negative cable

    P0335 (crank pos sensor) issue

Hey all, I have been having issues with my 2012 6.2 swapped Yukon since I got it back together after a head gasket repair. It was fine for a hundred miles or so, but I got on it hard the other day and it's been having this issue ever since. It is sporadically throwing a p0335 code which leads...

    Backfire and sputter

Getting an intermittent backfire and sputter in my truck lately and it won’t be able to accelerate for about 10 seconds then it clears up and everything is fine. Happens about once a week or so. It threw a code once and I believe it said something like fuel pump low voltage or something of...

    Corsa vs Magnaflow Catbacks

I have the corsa with headers and a resonator. It sounds amazing, I get compliments all the time. Even the cop who gave me a ticket recently for out of date inspection loved it hahaha Without the resonator it is THROATY, I had to tone it down a bit with the vibrant resonator.

    6.2 swap thread

Two years later, the engine has zero issues It's just damn noisy on cold start, but it is definitely from lifter bores being too big.

    Radiator.com one is 1 3/8" core thickness

Any aluminum radiators that don't crack annually?

They have it, I am going to get it and be done with this crap. So annoying these aluminum radiators! The truck has 185k on it and has been an absolute workhorse otherwise

If the local radiator.com location has it, I will buy it

Any aluminum radiators that don't crack annually?

Finally going to fix this problem as it's warm enough outside to work on the truck I am ditching the aluminum and never going back to it I am still confused as to what to buy Gmpartsgiant says 22840116 is my radiator for a 6.2 but it doesn't list the core thickness...

    Rear axle C-clip removal guidance?

This is what I did, I did the job myself setting the lash and it's been like 40k and there are no issues at all If I recall correctly, I think I just used a ratchet strap on the outside and pulled it tight and the axle moved in enough to get the clips out

    help choosing a radiator

Okay the interesting part is the radiator you linked says does not fit 6.2 but it has the correct core thickness

Any aluminum radiators that don't crack annually?

I did install the hummer h2 mounts when I did my motor, perhaps they don't cushion enough idk Maybe stock rad + an external cooler is the way to go

    help choosing a radiator

Interesting, why is this half the price of this one which says fits the 6.2? https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ado-21742/make/gmc/model/yukon-xl-1500/year/2012

Any aluminum radiators that don't crack annually?

Okay thanks for the information I wonder if there's something with the truck that's causing it to crack radiators. Too much torque?

Any aluminum radiators that don't crack annually?

Haha thank you My truck is still going strong on the original 6.2 swap, it has about 180k on it now and around 40 or 50k on the engine, it is an absolute work horse However, I am so tired of this reliability issue I read cold case you have to trim the tabs, is that true? Perhaps I will just...

Any aluminum radiators that don't crack annually?

Hello, I have a mishimoto aluminum radiator. The first one cracked within a couple of months. The second one lasted about a year and a half. I am tired of spending money on the shipping for the warranty and the extra money each time I have to change the coolant. I read reviews of cold case...

    Welp broke something serious

Guess I will be driving this thing until it falls apart. The prices of used vehicles is just absolutely insane.

Nah was doing this before the trutrac.

Next thing I gotta figure out is why my ABS activates when braking in reverse down my steep driveway. Braking at normal speeds works fine.

I notice zero difference with the truetrac. You don't feel it unless you give a little throttle on turns, then you'll screech the tires a bit.

    Engine swap 2007 Yukon

It's a direct swap, just drop it in. I have a whole thread in my sig on it. It's 100% worth it. Upgrade your rear diff to a truetrac when you do it or it will eventually break like mine did. 6.2 in this generation came in AWD configuration or the 14 bolt 2WD configuration, so it could take...

For AWD I would think the locker would be overkill.

    Welp broke something serious

Good breakdown here. Seems for daily driving, the truetrac is the choice. Weekend drag car/cruiser, the locker could take the edge there. https://www.streetmusclemag.com/news/locking-versus-limited-slip-we-look-at-four-eaton-differentials/

    Welp broke something serious

You can def DIY it. As long as you reuse the ring gear and don't move the pinion, it's a DIY job. Here were my resources. Main DIY video. I did a better method for putting the bearing on though by using the ball joint press sleeve that fit perfectly. Just another video, he has a good part...
