    From the people that have done this mode have reported this over and over again that stock HID's were. So thats why I said it. Even Serge has said it when he did the conversion.

    To me I think your crazy.. lol. I don't see what the real difference it could be. You might see .2 mpg increase. But shouldn't be much wear on your rims. Only tires. I can see this if your tires are about shot? But that is me.
