As you slide through the pictures your thinking "wow, this is like a brand new truck" . . . . . until you reach the interior pictures and the age of the truck slaps you in the face and you begin laughing.
Man oh man, are those interior's dated, lol.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad your getting back into the Tahoe, but your truck looks awesome. I really like what you did with the truck, and if that's any indication, I can't wait to see what you have planned for your Tahoe.
I am trying to locate a set of OEM 16 inch 4WD wheels and I was wondering if anyone here knew of a place that sells new replicas or used wheels in near perfect condition.
I've looked at Craigslist and all the wheels I've found are banged up pretty bad or in horrible condition.
I'll attach...
I touched up the grill guard today with a quick sand job and some more spray-on bed liner. Definitely hid some flaws caused by my lack of experience with spray-on bed liners, today's touch up made a huge difference and I am very pleased with the outcome.
I've been visiting and re-visiting the...

Am I the only person here that was curious to see what a "newer" K-5, Blazer, Yukon, ect like ours who look like as a convertible? Its not what I would have done, but I've always been curious. . .
I'm a cheap a$$, but I priced out a set of 285/70/17 Treadwrights which run around $700, and for $300 more I can get a set of brand Cooper STT new mud tires. The savings aren't as good as I imagined for retreads . . .
The only thing I remembered about Treadwrights is from the photographs I've seen of them (Never seen a set in person) is that the sidewalls appear to stick-out further than the treads which looks weird too me. I have no idea if they are like that in person, but I wouldn't want to spend the money...
Lets face it, the look of the mud tire tops any other tires out there. Although my rig is a concrete cowboy, I want the look of a mud tire on my truck.
My brother swears by Toyo M/T's and he got almost 50,000 miles on them. My cousin swears by Copper STT and he has 20,000 miles on them and and...
I had too in order to mount the brush guard with the hardware it came with. In hindsight, I could have just removed the grill and left the bumper on, but that didn't dawn on me until after everything was removed. (Hindsight 20/20)
