Was the brush guard chrome before mounting? did you do any prep work beforehand? [sanding etc?]

Although I am not a mechanic, I was an aircraft painter in a previous life. The push bumper came black. I just hit it with 120 grit to take the shine off and then I just sprayed it with bed liner. The product is very forgiving and you don't need to primer the surface before you apply it.

My one and only suggestion, as a first time user bed liner wise, is to spray it in pieces and not as a unit; and let it dry for a several days before touching it.

I let it dry for a day in a half thinking that was enough (in 75-78 California degree heat) and it was NOT enough time. So I have some finger prints that I will have to touch us later.

But again, you live and you learn . . .

I'm glad you approve, I have always admired your taste and the way you have customized your vehicles.

Humm ironic... I just completed the same thing. I was thinking it's time to get ready for snow (in Tahoe). The worst part was scrubbing the frame before paint! That was terrible. I had black boogers all day :)
