2/3 Beltech drop ride help needed

Thanks Autumn, steering damper and steering box adjustment really helped even more. Steering is near perfect, not bad for a vehicle with 160,000 miles. I would still like a softer ride, but I'll see if the sport shocks soften up a little. Thanks again...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I did the same thing when I replaced the arm rest. Amazing results like you said. When I was done, the whole seat matched the new arm rest.....who knew?

Not really hard at all. Took about 3 hours, but I also replaced the r/rear E brake cable and painted the calipers.

    No start, electrical......

Odd issue. Put truck on lift to replace rear brake backing plates. Finish 2 days later, go to start truck, battery dead. Hum, must have left something on. Charge battery, which is rwalitivly new, truck turns over, tries to start but dies. I can hear the fuel pump when I first turn key. I notice...

    E brake help needed.....UPDATE.....

Got the ACdelco kit from the dealer today. It does include everything in the diagram above. So it turns out I have an extra set of parking brake shoes. The hardware pack I'll return. If anyone needs it, part #19178801. List $120 for both sides.

    E brake help needed.....UPDATE.....

Well it seems I jumped the gun. The part I needed is not in the kit even though I was told it was. So I went to the dealer and was informed the only way to get the part I need was to order a complete e brake kit that includes many parts I already have. I ordered the kit and will report back how...

    E brake help needed.....UPDATE.....

If any one is doing this project, I highly recommend the Dorman 2 piece backing plate, about $18 from Amazon per side and the Dorman hardware kit, $20 for both sides. It's not a bad job and very rewarding when completed. Plenty of videos of how to on line.

    E brake help needed.....UPDATE.....

Found the part, it is part of a Dorman hardware kit.

    E brake help needed.....UPDATE.....

I don't think so. It's the lever at the backing plate that in this case the right side parking brake cable clips into. I believe it's #2 in this diagram.

    E brake help needed.....UPDATE.....

I'm repairing the emergency brake on my 04 Tahoe. I have all the parts I need except one because I don't know the name of it. It is the pivot point that attaches to the end of the brake cable at the backing plate. Any ideas on the name or a part number would be of great help. Thanks.......

    Lower headlights

Chase, check out Fleece Performance Engineering GM all lights on module. Easiest mod ever to do what you want if it will fit your year vehicle..

    Which Coil Spring Spacer?

No, just do the free travel mod. Putting in the additional spacer defeats the purpose of the springs. Take your time, get 6-8 extra blades and just do it. :)

Update: after replacing the idler and pitman arms, most of the "shutter" going over bridge transitions is gone. It is almost acceptable now but still looking for a better ride.

    Cat back exhaust options

i have an 04 Tahoe 5.3, 150,000 miles with original exhaust. I'd like to put short headers on it but afraid of braking the exhaust manifold studs. I am in need of a cat back exhaust. Doing research I would have liked a Corsa Touring exhaust but they only make the Sport for this year/model. I'm...
