    Rear control arm question....

I'm finishing up the installation of a Bellrech 2/3 kit for my 04 Tahoe. What if anything should I do with/to the rear control arms? I see Belltech has a relocation bracket. I also see a full adjustable kit for the upper and lower arms. I have tha panhard bar and understand the need for it along...

    Spring Orientation?

So I'm in the process of installing new Balltech lowering springs on my 2004 Tahoe. I've looked and have seen conflicting information. Which way are the springs installed? Tight (closer together) coils to the top or bottom? I'm thinking tighter coil to the bottom so the print "Baelltech" is...

My 04 Tahoe does not which surprised me. I'm guessing yours does not either. Good question though.

Difference between 2003 and 2006 Yukon?

Agree on the hydro boost. I was looking into the upgrade mod, not really looking forward to it. Opened the hood to check on something else and damn, what did I notice, my 04 had the hydro boost. Checked that off the to do list.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Did the "free travel" mod in preparation for my 2/3 Belltech lowering kit......did the front hubs yesterday to take care of front end noise. Needed new rotors because of the bad bearing, so I ordered the parts for the brake upgrade from a 2008 Tahoe. Since the truck is out of service for a week...

    Seat Heater auto on?

Good morning Clayton, I only did the drivers side as 90% of the time it's just me getting in it when cold. If you wanted to do both I would use 2 relays or a dpst relay to keep the two circuits isolated. I would not assume the wire color code would be the same on the passenger side. It might be...

    Rear Dif

This, I just did mine last week. Be careful not to over fill it. The correct level is about a 1/4 inch below the fill hole.

    Seat Heater auto on?

Ok, now that winter is over, I have this figured out. I set up one of the aux functions on the remote to control a relay. The aux output momentarily powers the relay. The relay then acts as a momentary spst switch. At the seat heat switch on the drivers door, there are 12 wires coming out. The...

    Left turn noise

Travis, Check the ABS & Traction control activates for no reason thread in the General Discusion section. I believe that is my issue. Hope this helps. Since I have 150,000 miles on mine, I'm going to replace both front hubs to see if that fixes the issue. If not, at least I won't have to worry...

    Left turn noise

When I turn left, it sounds as if the abs is kicking in. It happens mostly when the truck is cold and only on the first couple of left turns. Sound coming from left front. Power is decreased, but no abs active light comes on.if I lift off the gas, noise stops and everything seems fine until the...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Gear oil change in the front differential and transfer case. Trans servo mod completed and Airaid cai installed. Another good day in the garage. Very happy with the intake and servo mod. Noticible improvements but not harsh shifting nor too loud at WOT.

    Installing Brake Controller

Get a vehicle specific harness for the model brake controller you have and your 01 Yukon. About $20. Plug one end in as Mr 960 said, the other end to the brake controller. Plug and play, done deal. 40 mins tops including mounting the controller.
