Center console led light mod

Next the usb plug.
Installation is pretty straight forward. I used the same c clip that I used on the cigarette lighter in the center console. Holds it nice and tight.









Need a steady hand and a good eye for this tedious fab work but in the end its well worth it. Its all about the little details.On to the next item on the list. So far most of this whole thread has been free, spent alot of time and thought for the right execution . The usb plug I got off ebay for less than $20. Came with a cover flap and the cords were about 5' in length, given plenty of room for routing and installation anywhere in the front on the cab.

Put the usb plug in the dash instead of the center console because I didn't want people going through my stuff to plug in thier phone. Easier access for the passenger.

Yea I get these crazy ideas stuck in my head and I have to see them come to life lol. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I enjoy sharing and throwing out ideas. Thats what its all about.

So for some reason 03 is when gm rid themselves of the headache of having footwell lights lol but yet left the brackets for them. So I did the footwell light mod. Gotta say it makes a huge difference once you have light down there, especially with leds.

I got some oem plugs from the salvage yard for free. Already had the wires and electrical connections and the led lights. Again another free mod
next is 2nd row footwell lights and 3rd row too

Went to pull of the door panel courtesy lights and 3 of the 4 the lens seperated and came off lol. So I took it off the 4th one too. Then since they were off I decided to paint the housing black for a smoke look. Then jb welded them back together. Did the dome lights while I was at it


Removed these covers to spray them too.


Mark sure u scrape off the contacts. Its just platidip so it will come off easy.
