Google it and it will tell you. Air shocks in the back and there will be codes on the sticker like 6vb, etc....
If you look at the front shocks there should be electrical connectors. Z55 is the smooth ride option.
You seem to have the right coolers. Try towing with a light load and see what happens. I would flush your radiator and check your water pump. I had an LS water pump crap out on me.
I am in full disagreement on your statement. I think the bad parts are due to poor QA and cost cutting. Not due to focus. GM needs these engines at the most profitable plants they have. That and 3$ will get u a coffee at some coffee shops. Not pikin a fight, just giving u my opinion.
As a bump to the OE thread I will add this:
The GMT 800 is the MOST comfortable seats in ANY SUV i had.
The 900 drove great- still does- not pretty but a great riding vehicle.
The SBC came out in 55' as a 265/283 and in 97' the LS came out. Now the LT with its Direct Inject has basically taken the ICE about as far as it can in its NA form without putting $ 1000's into turbos etc.
Our Hammer and Sickle Greenies want us to collect cow farts and live off the...
It will run smoother. I bought my 2012 Denali it had 134 k on it and clearly had OE plugs. It ran fine but the idle was smoother. Its amazing how these Iridium plugs last. The platinum pugs are basically done by 80k miles.
Thats a sweet ride. I would love a SC but will probably stay with the NA 6.2. I deal with the pitted chrome wheels on mine. I replaced one of my wheels (it was just a touch out of round).
