Seems like a safe bet the 13.4" screen will migrate to the SUVs fairly quickly. I don't think they would do it mid way through the model year though. My guess it when they switch to the larger screen the push-button transmission controls will go away as they will need that real-estate...
The infotainment screen size is the same on all 2022s regardless of trim --- the Denali's may appear larger because it is built into the dash but they are all 10.2". The DIC display is 12" (speedometer area).
Do you mean the cross bars? If so, yes they just clamp onto the rails and lock. Easy to remove and you would never know they had been there.
Maybe someone can chime in on the rails .. removing them is probably more involved (think i read somewhere dropping headliner might be involved?)
The lifter problems are really two separate issues. I have no doubts about a higher than average failure rate for the engines built during the time period GM identified and blamed on a supplier. For everything built outside of that time period -- people blame DFM/AFM for a high failure rate...
If you think its a DFM time bomb why would you buy it at all? The current outdated Sequoia is selling above list in my area so if the market is still tight when the new one gets here I would imagine it will as well.
Dont think the Z71 gets ventilated seats -- the At4 does. Maybe that matters if you're in a warm area. The HUD is also At4 only. Power retractable running boards are avail on the At4 but not Z71. ELsd was At4 only on the'21s but think that is now on both Z71 and At4.
I really wanted the...
Haven't heard anything official but I'd guess they'll update the interior on the SUVs in the next year or two. Seems out of synch that the pickups would have a nicer interior than the SUVs - but that will soon be the case.
What words in your mouth? You said "Their strategy included building faulty trucks and suvs and then doing the minimum to help the purchasers who had problems. Sorry I can't credit them for that." And later characterized that as "screwing people".
I'm also not arguing for anything here...
The question was how GM was able to generate the profit they did. I explained what they did - they shifted focus to profitable vehicles and benefited from increased demand and higher ATPs.
If you think they intentionally built faulty vehicles to screw people don't buy GM. The only way...
Have to credit their strategy to get through this period. They stopped production on lower priced vehicles and focused on the building the money makers ---like our SUVs, the pickups, and performance cars. Low vehicle incentives, no dealer inventory to float, and higher ATP pumped profit per...
The other one is Sport. None of those drive mode settings change the shocks or air springs. So there is no way to select a softer or firmer ride, although it seems like there should be.
Do you have the air suspension on your HC? I don't totally love the ride on my At4 6.2 w/air - it can be a little harsh over bumps. I held out for the MRC + Air combo thinking that would give the best ride. Many of the reviews i read raved about it 'floating down the road' and i certainly...
On my At4 have only noticed the drone in a couple of conditions - when driving on longer highway hill climbs and also when towing a utility trailer (3k lbs or so). The 6.2 has enough power that it will stay in a high gear at highway speeds in those situations - and I get a drone in the cabin...
My dealer seems to think the fix for this may come via an OTA update -- but even then your question is a good one -- how would be know? Is there anything in the vehicle settings to view an update and what it did? Havent seen anything like that. I would guess if the fix comes via OTA update...
It is 22 only. Dealer bulletin was dated 12/8 so feels like it’s taking them a long time to come up with a software fix. I haven’t remote started mine since having it towed as I don’t want to chance it again - however it seems like a fairly uncommon occurrence.
Think Olyelr is right, GM tinkered with 4 corner air in the 50’s and 60’s but this is the first modern 4 corner system they’ve offered. I’m sure it will soon be offered on other GM vehicles (like it has among stellantis’s products) and the system will get improvements over time.
I do wish...
Those systems on the GMT360 platform were rear wheels only. There were lots of versions of that vehicle in the GM family- chevy, gmc, Buick, Oldsmobile, Saab - but the auto leveling air susp was only in the rear.
