Yes, its on my list for dealer to check during 1st oil change. Checked the window seals and they look fine but its pretty noticeable. With most reviews talking about how quiet the cabin is i think somethings up.
Midnight Blue is pretty true to its name --- on a cloudy day you have to be paying attention to realize its not black. Add the low sun angle this time of year and it looks pretty dark in pictures.
Just installed the floor liners last night, they fit really nicely. Did the roof rails last week, also a nice fit and easy install. They clamp on and lock, so easy to move or remove anytime you like. So far haven't seen anything equivalent anywhere else.
Gave up waiting for the diesel and jumped on a ‘22 with the 6.2. Really nice engine/transmission combo but if the 3.0 becomes available next year I’ll be kicking myself for not waiting
Yeah that is definitely the simplest option. A spacer may impact the ride quality as well, but if it’s a negative change you can always remove it and not have invested too much into it.
Should be able to .. my At4 had the Enhanced Trailering Tech Package (RPO ZM1 - $750) --- so where that 4 pin plug is there is an input for the camera lead. It came with an aux camera on what looks like a 30' lead. I havent hooked it up yet ...but i would think if you can swap out that 4 pin...
Have you considered height adjustable shocks? I used Bilstein 5100s on my 2016 Suburban to increase the front height 1.5”. Pricier than a spacer but I found the ride with the Bilsteins to be much more controlled than the stock setup. Looked on CarId and they appear to be compatible with...
The tag says 1405 pounds. This At4 had pretty much every option, some of which probably cut into the payload somewhat substantially. I’m thinking sunroof, automatic steps, and maybe the air system probably eat away 150 pounds or so?
The Coopers are a tick louder than the Wrangler SRA’s that came on the suburban but it was well worth it for me. Got 60k out of first set and then bought another. Best snow traction I’ve ever had and good overall performance. They are mountain/snowflake rated so probably compare well to any...
No reason a well designed system should be problematic. Rams system in the pickups doesn’t seem to be - and they have now made it available on multiple vehicles. Whether GM’s system holds up is a fair question- count me as a guinea pig.
Read on here someone had the sunroof uv coated when they tinted their windows to block out some heat - not sure how effective that might be but may be worth looking into. Are you thinking a more aggressive tire down the line? Had switched my suburban to cooper discover at4 4s, loved them...
Im in NY but will reach out to you if I’m going to switch - actually have both exhausts because the performance exhaust was dealer installed so I asked to take the stock exhaust with me just in case.
Picked up a '22 Yukon At4 6.2 in Midnight Blue with Air Suspension today. Replaces a '16 Suburban Z71 that served well for 130k miles (only repairs were the a/c twice). Had to go 200 miles for this At4 so got to spend a few hours with it right away. Some thoughts for anyone in the market...
'22s are arriving at dealers now. Everything i've seen about the lifters points to a supplier defect and build dates through Mar 2021. Will be interesting to see if vehicles built after that still have issues.
Been wrestling with the same - wanting air ride with 20’s. Just bought an At4 because it was tough to find a Denali that way - but it is possible. If you use the online build price everything gets bundled and forces you to 22’s with air ride but a dealer can order the premium capability...
I'm actually pleasant surprised - my '16 Suburban Z71 now has 90k on it and i've been thinking about options to replace in a year or so - the Ram Limited impresses me. Looks like GM crossed off alot of my current dislikes:
Looks like they made the mirrors larger
Sounds like they improved the...
Put cooper At3 4s’s on my 16 Suburban about 3000 miles ago. Very happy with them so far. A little more aggressive look, fantastic traction in rain and snow, nearly as quiet as the stock Wrangler SRAs.
