Thanks man. I didnt like the tire size difference at first but I barely notice it now. Not a huge difference in height.

Thanks man. I like the color also because ya dont see it on this body style...
What's up guys. Finally got a chance to clean up the Tahoe yesterday and take some decent pics since lowering it last weekend. I'll start with some pics of how she looked back in March of this year and how it's progressed to be where it's at now. I'm not finished with it, but it's getting there...
I do most of my own tuning, but I got a friend with a Mustang dyno. He's done some top end tuning for me with the wideband setup. Use EFILive mostly on the Z28.

I've never ran Bilsteins in the rear but they will probably be the choice of shock that ends up back there. I cant stand these BT Nitro Drops. Not using shock extenders as they're a shorter shock for the drop.
Ive never heard of anyone referencing the Z71 bumpstops. I know where theres a...
Well, I think I may have had my wheels turned slightly on the first measurement. I measured again before I started tweaking the keys and they were both relatively close to 34". Something else I learned yesterday, don't take measurements on a sloped driveway lol.... I was adjusting the keys and...
Yeah I got it aligned yesterday. Wheels had some serious positive camber before the alignment lol... Its all good now.
Played with the key adjustments tonight and think I got it where its gonna be for awhile.
DS front=32-7/8
PS front=33
DS rear=34
PS rear=34-1/8
I'm sorta banking on...
I'm about to start tweaking the front key adjustments. Any Idea how many turns will drop another inch or so? Right now I've got 26.5 turns on the driver side, and 21 turns on the passenger. Driver side front is at 33" and passenger side front is at 34".
On another note, about how much can...
OK so initial impressions are mixed about the drop and the overall ride etc..
First, the Bilsteins seem to work amazing. Very compliant but not quite as firm as I was hoping for. Seem to be about like a stock shock, on a stock height Tahoe to be quite honest. Was hoping for a little firmer...
Well good news! I installed the 3/5 drop and Bilstein shocks today. Not a job I would recomend doing alone lol. Couple times I wished I hand a third arm when installing the DJM front arms. Truck is going to the alignment shop tomorrow. Once I get the stance dialed-in I'll start a new thread with...
Sorry guys, been busy with other things and havent got the 3/5 drop installed yet. I did get the shocks though. The eyelet needed some slight modification. The hole was just a tad too small so i drilled em out w a 1/2" bit. Then the metal insert was roughly 1/8" too wide and wouldn't slip into...
I'll have to agree with Alex. I've ran Bilsteins on quite a few GM rigs and they are 10x better than a stock shock and feel very connected with the road. Although they are firmer than stock, I would hardly call them "stiff". IMO Bilsteins are one of the best shocks out there for the coin spent...
So these have the bar still installed and would need to be pressed out, correct? Were these for a full size Chevy truck originall?
Out of those two, the top one looks like it's for a full size F-150, while the ones on the bottom appear to be for a mid-size Ranger/Mazda truck. I'm guessing...
Anyone running Billstein shocks with the DJM lowering arms? If so, got a part number for them? Always had great luck with Billstein shocks and I like the way they ride.
A part number for a front Belltech shock used with a DJM arm would be a good place to start if anyone can supply the part...
