Been driving the truck with these lovely looking front fender measurements:

Here was my front bumpstop situation:

I added these:

Sadly, it's too high, measures 31.5" up front now and 32" in the rear.

Gonna shave down the bumpstops to get it back down to 31" so I can get a bit of the rake back.

I will concede that it rides a bit better now, lol. I still would like to get it lower all around.

Also want to add that the install took no time at all. I had both bumpstops installed in less than 5 minutes so that was great. I changed the oil while I was down there too.

Alex, are you using BT spindles + keys to get that low? I had a set of lowering keys and now I'm kinda regretting selling them lol...

Trav - I'll grab a pic before I mess with it this afternoon.

Mike - I wish I had BT spindles, I'm running the McG spindles + lowering keys. Lost a bit of turning radius. I doubt I'll swap the spindles unless I have a very good reason but my next truck will def have the BT ones.

From your post in 2010, had it saved.

Alex- sorry didnt text you back, didnt want to bother late.

Per Boss's post-- They lift it slightly because the stops are reinforced with a larger lip like an upside down muffin, so control arm rests against them with no room to compress

or heres the thread. lol.. http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12391

Didn't get to trim the stops tonight. Took everything out to get it going and realized I couldn't cut them with what I have. I'll have to work on it another day.

Here's a pic Trav:

I'm gonna try drilling and shaving mine a bit with the bench grinder at work tomorrow if they get delivered. Some guy on the silvy ss forum has belltech spindles + keys just like me and said the stock stops drilled out a bit made it ride smoother. I'll try to take pics and report findings.
