    Try the antenna as mentioned above. I had similiar issues, replaced the antenna and all is good. It was $23 on Rock auto and took 10 mins to replace.

    That kit is complete over kill unless you're running a boosted engine. OP please double check your connections, if you have interrupted the wrong line you have created a vacuum leak.

    Intake air temperature. The problem with those kits is that they are open to the engine compartment. The factory kit is sealed off to everything except the fender area which shields it from the under hood engine heat. IMHO you are better off with the factory unit.

    Has anyone replaced the oil screen below the oil pressure sending unit behind the intake manifold? Also, what oil filter? Try running the Wix XP filter, it has a different pressure relief valve internally.

    I had a ceramic window film put on mine it reduced the heat tremendously, I also had the windshield done , I'm in FL. You can also paint the roof with Plasti Dip which is cheap and comes off, I painted my H2 roof white with it.
