I’ve stuck to my core claims all through this thread. Its not all opinion. Much is factual and easily sourced which I have done.
It seems like I’m hopping around because people keep throwing out silly stuff like “yeah but dah windmillz don’t like cold and librulzzz bad!!!” or “Librulzzz want...
I didn’t evade anything. I said you’re welcome to hold that opinion. Saying that “someone once said something in 2016” isn’t a particularly compelling argument (especially considering that the only document/source you provided in this thread was an opinion piece penned by the oil lobby)...
Yeah but they won’t. there’s no way they’ll stop OMG incentives, subsidies and wars...let alone go back and tear up the highway system (defense purposes...rrriiigghhhttt) that was a boon to early auto manufacturers. The govt has always had its thumb on the scales of industries that they believe...
Those are certainly opinions and you’re welcome to hold them...If you think we’re in the Middle East for anything other than stabilization of gas prices you’re welcome to believe that.
Back to cars, here’s a cool article on Rivian and their planned network. Imagine the cost of gassers if auto...
Yes. It’s unemotional and factual to say that the govt has spent trillions throwing kids at endless wars to subsidize the cost of gas. And yes. If the cost of gas at the pump didn’t matter oil wars wouldn’t be a thing.
What’s the problem? SPECULATION from a “shale magazine” contributor and OMG lobbyist isn’t a good unemotional pragmatic source to get info on EV’s?

True. We should really just focus on the body count of kids we keep throwing at endless oil wars...not the money.
There’s no price tag on life.
I’ll give you that.
And they can’t sell ICE without spending trillions to keep gas under $10/gallon.
I find it truly shocking that EV’s (who are barely 10 years into mass production) haven’t met production costs of a 100 year old product. Crazy!!
They’re coming for you!
Are you disagreeing with the content or simply indulging in ad Hominems?

And it turns out that windmills work pretty darn well when it’s cold. Even in Texas.

EV subsidies cost $7B and are being phased out.
OMG subsidies and incentives cost taxpayers, conservatively, $10B but depending on how you calculate could be up to $40B. Of course neither figure includes the staggering cost of oil wars.
Pretty sweet the Audi didn’t need to send someone down...
OMG Is exponentially more subsidized, incentivized and protected than EV’s but I won’t bring that fact up...
But you are right, they’re coming, despite the gnashing of the teeth.
In fact, the group moving most quickly to EV’s are, wait for it, boomers...
That’s a pretty good ratio...80% of those who try an EV buy another EV.
EV’s and hybrids are here to stay but I’m not sure that’s the point the blog was trying to make...

Edit: just realized you were asking about 5.3. My 6.2 had lifter issues. I don’t believe my 5.3 did but that was a bunch of years ago so I can’t recall.

“An area that Dodge has excelled at for decades with models such as the Challenger SRT Hellcat. However, Tim Kuniskis, head of Dodge, believes that the future of muscle cars lies with EVs, and he makes a pretty good...
As long as you are using grit guards, a 3rd bucket for wheels and anything that touches the car is washed with microfiber detergent in a washing machine afterwards.
Air leaves a leaf blower (with oil particles in it if it’s gas) at close to 200MPH.
I don’t drive that fast.
I do however get my entire front end and lower panels wrapped in xpel ultimate to protect them from road debris and contaminants.

Frankly if you’re using a brush nothing else matters. It’s going to look like a cobwebbed mess under a paint light. Maybe there is a microfiber brush available but I’ve never seen one.
If the blower is electric then MAYBE (gas will blow exhaust which has oil in it) but it’s still unfiltered...
