What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Saturday my Denali started chirping around the belt area. A little digging with a stethoscope led me to the water pump. Even though it was new in December, I decided to replace it. After installing the sound came back. Still chirping at the water pump. Further digging I found the the pulley on...

Has anyone blowen up there 6Litre ?

My lq4 gave up the ghost at 165k. Still ran good but was chewing something up internally. Lost oil pressure and had metal on the magnetic drain plug. After I pulled it is didn't see anything obvious. I replaced it with a long block and didn't have time to tear into it before I sent it back for...

    Gel/sludge in oilpan

04 Pretty sure 03-06 are the same. Only difference between lq4 and lq9 is dished pistons vs flat top. Lq4 is cheaper by a good amount. Not worth the extra $ for the lq9

    Gel/sludge in oilpan

The stock 6.0 lq4 in my denali has 325. LQ9s have 340. Both make way more torque and that's what you feel in these big beasts. Take an lq4 and put LS heads and cam and you get over 400hp easy

    Gel/sludge in oilpan

That I don't know. They are basically the same externally. You'd need to look into it. I didn't swap mine. I already had a 6.0 but a lot of people have done the swap with minimal effort

It's about the same price or just a bit higher than the 5.3 for a reman 6.0 . I think I paid 2400 for mine last winter

    Gas pedal vibration

2004 Denali - Has anyone ever experienced this? It is hard to explain but it happens when Im cruising down the freeway and I ease onto the throttle. I get a high frequency vibration in the gas pedal that is comparable to a foot massager. It's a crazy feeling. It has only done it twice and both...

You can buy the faces and the bezels separate. That's what I did. You can change them out to any number of combinations with little effort

Strips. You just solder into one of the bulb locations and loop the strip through the whole cluster. I ordered RGB LEDs and a remote control off Amazon. Wired it the same way. Only thing was I had to drill a bigger hole inside to make room for the controller. It's a little more time consuming...

Oh that's right. Well you can still use the strips but you'll need to solder in the connection. I'll see if I can find the link
