whoa thats definatly coolant leakin and contaminating oil

Defienently i had pressure test after pressure test done and couldnt get no visable leaks anywhere... was told that the water pump was discolored an it was probably the culprit, but then i thought you know im losing way too much coolant for it to be the water pump an it not being visable, so i did a little more research and it went back to the heads so i decided what the hay, im gonna pull the valve covers and.... BAM..... there was all the coolant... so if your losing coolant, oil (with no visable leaks) and your air conditioner blows warmer when its at a idle but gets cold driving down the road, check your heads, evidently around 04 is when they put these castech heads on them and they are prone to cracking!

Hey man i have a question for you! If i go to a 6.0 what all will i have to/ need to change? I have 04 z71 hoe flex fuel! Thanks buddy
That I don't know. They are basically the same externally. You'd need to look into it. I didn't swap mine. I already had a 6.0 but a lot of people have done the swap with minimal effort

Is a 6.0 worth the money? My 5.3 has 295 hp, a stock 6.0 has 300 hp, im not doing a cam and all that, right now anyways... is it worth it or do i just need to go back with my stock 5.3? Thanks

The stock 6.0 lq4 in my denali has 325. LQ9s have 340. Both make way more torque and that's what you feel in these big beasts.

Take an lq4 and put LS heads and cam and you get over 400hp easy
