    Gel/sludge in oilpan

I didn't experience this with my 165k 6.0 that I just replaced but... I do have a friend at work that had replaced his 5.3 four years ago. He temporarily lost oil pressure the other day while driving. After investigating he found his pan full of sludge. He attributes it to only short drives and...

    Knock sensor replacement issues.

    Most people don't realize they can use an inch/lb torque wrench as well. 12 inches in a foot X 15 ft/lbs = 180 in/lb

I got my pioneer avh2800bs installed but.....

actually I know I didnt use it because i put my entire harness together watching tv in the house. The instructions for the bypass should tell you where the wires go. Pretty straight forward. I believe they are just remote, ground, and to the parking brake wire on the head unit. Thats it.. The...

I got my pioneer avh2800bs installed but.....

been a long time since i wired mine but logic would dictate that you dont actually need the parking brake wire because you are bypassing using it.

07+ Brake upgrade on a 00-06 NBS, is it worth it?

Like I stated.. swapping the rears would be a downgrade so I think nobody has done it. No way to know for sure

07+ Brake upgrade on a 00-06 NBS, is it worth it?

The 800 rear calipers and rotors are indeed bigger and better than the 900s so that's why people only swap the fronts.

    Tranny fluid change?

this is the best way. your pan only holds a fraction of the fluid. do a search and youll see a more in depth DIY about it. you will get 99% of the fluid swapped and not back flush contaminants through.

    Denali bucket seat motors

Long story short.. the motor that makes the front of the bottom go up and down went out with the bottom all the way down. I messed with it, it came alive , then quit again. I took the drive screw off and manually adjusted it then disconnected the electrics it so in case it wants to work, it...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Agreed and after I swapped my entire engine myself, this seems so much more simple although everything you remove from the top of the engine is the same for either lol

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Lol its just because you're unfamiliar. Once you've had the intake off the first time, it's easy. Be sure to torque them proper and exact then seal the hole plugs with RTV
