Tahoe Z71 renovation project - Suspension and Brakes Thread

They are comfy to me. Wife likes 'em. Kids don't complain. You support my stance. What is good for one, can be bad for another. I gravitate towards the Bilstein label with my previous dealings. I am happy here, too.

Revisiting this to counter the claim the 5100s are harsh; Idisagree. This is a tough thing to talk about as all can experience the same ride differently. I come from the car world. I had a very lowered station wagon where a cracked oil pan was not out of the question, angling out of any driveway...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Well, sure enough, the error codes and Christmas lights were from the unplugged line when I changed the rear shocks ... That was a relief. Worries when I dropped the axle it broke more...

The vehicle is equipped with an airbag controlm readable by a tool licensed by Bosch. It is the crash data retrieval tool. It would store crash related information. Did the other vehicle stop? Or was it involved or just implied? Glad you are OK.

I would like to do this. Grab the grounding by the horns, too! these trucks and newer vehicles are finicky about voltage.

Finally, the rear Bilstein 5100s. Tried for Z71 springs but could not get to cram in there. Ran out of light, time and really it looked as though the springs were replaced. The PO towed a horse trailer: I would not be surprised if they are Z71 springs for towing purposes. New rear sway links...

    Allharexusa Tahoe headlights

That's a lot of moola. Looks like Volvo's Thor's Hammer lights. They trademarked them. Wonder if it's an issue.

I know what you think. I am encouraging you to try outside what you think you know. I too had a battery that was just fine. I too had the same messages. Good luck.

Why not replace the battery? Or at the very least get it tested? Seems like a voltage issue more than anything else.

Tahoe Z71 renovation project - Headlight Retro Thread

Seems a lot of expense for this venture. I wonder what you would think just dropping in LED replacements. I went with the Hikari ones another user posted about. I did them for low and highs. It is a marked improvement. Less than $90. For $100, I bought new headlamp assemblies. I did drop the...

Tahoe Z71 renovation project - Blackout

I like the cut of your jib. This is a great story, documented well and excellent, tasteful mods. I agree with your belief. Have a good vehicle, keep it. New is nice but not always best for many reasons. Paid off but lots of life left. As things age, replace and repair with better. I look...

Wow. I keep gawking. All leather? Exquisite line? Color name?$$$$ all in? Done this kind of work before? Lessons learned? Tips on back and back-back seats? Smell like new leather? Heated seat elements stay put? Looks like what I'd want is about $1700. Really not bad.
