Gieger counter noise

Sounds like a gieger counter under drivers side dash. Tick click sound. Sometimes more clicks sometimes less. Does not do more or less no matter what you do. Steering, speed, bumpy road, nice road, moving steering column, turning. Turning off all electronics does nothing. Nothing changes the constant noise except stopping. Or going under 5 mph. Stops sometimes for no apparent reason. Sometimes for days. Sometimes for minutes. Making me crazy. Any ideas? Thanks 2015 Yukon Denali

Remove radioactive material and re-test


Have you emptied your glovebox to rule out something rattling around in there?

have you pulled off the lower trim cover and tried to locate the source?, maybe pull off the lower cover, put your camera phone on record and while you are driving move the camera around under in various areas and then stop and play it back and see if the you can find the source from the recording playback?

There's a big power block down there with a bunch a harnesses plugged in. Unplug then one by one and inspect for signs of arcing. Use a little dielectric grease on them and plug them back in firmly.

OR....

how's your HVAC system working? Try hot and cold on all vents and report back.
