    I missed this post that you made, love your Nali looks super good. I actually had put the same hood on mine last Thursday lol. Here’s a more recent pic of mine and I also threw a couple of my other grill after the bleach trick. This was after letting it set all weekend probably 3 times or so.

    Lmao I did try a heat gun but never tried the torch haha. I actually got super lucky and picked up an extra Denali grill from my local scrap yard to experiment on so I didn’t have to ruin the one I was using.

    This yellowish wire under the dash is the one that you are looking for. Last plug, bottom row 4th pin from the right hand side. I just tapped into it for mine, the purple wire is the wire to my head unit. Hope this helps!

    I went to the local junkyard today And I was able to find one 04-06 donor nbs. I pulled the factory plug, I’m going to plug it in and splice the wires when I get the time and see if it works. If it does (like it should) it will be a pretty big win consti picked it up for $2!

    Yes, they will both need to come out but make sure your jack is under the differential because that thing is heavy!

    It cleaned up pretty good, I think it will be ok. My only guess as to what they would have put the silicone on it for would be to hold that ring in place after putting the new oil pump in? That’s the only thing I can possibly think of.

    DVD screen upgrade

    I forgot to mention, for the dvd drive I gutted the old 6 cd changer and used the housing for the mount. I was able to take it apart and place the DVD player inside of it. I did have to Dremel the back a little bit for the rca cables to go through but it was pretty easy and gave the perfect fit.
