I only put motor oil in my engines. With proper regular oil changes no need for flush additives. Why would one want to dilute the critical protection of the oil film on bearings with those additives or other urban legend fluids no matter what the makers claim.
Even with a dirty motor you want...
I have power boards on my '11 LTZ. Snow country they freeze up or get sluggish and come down but don't retract. Yeah they are cool and clean up the trucks looks but they are not on my need them list.
Just put the fixed boards on. At the age / mileage of yours its not worth messing with the power...
I used to use Wix but not anymore since Mann bought them. Last winter I had issues with Wix filters on 3 different vehicles. Once the cold hit they all started seeping at the gaskets. In my 'hoe and 2 different 3.6 Equinox's.
It's not like I don't know how to tighten a filter either. I had to...
I've got Alenza H/L's in 20's on my '11, was the OEM tire. No issues in snow, on my 3rd set at 150k miles. Great tread life and I tow sleds into the ADK lake effect zone. Not a true snow tire but no need for dedicated snow tire so far. I've been down the AT tire road on my old Yukon, never again...
Frozen from water intrusion?
I have replaced many Malibu door latch assemblies that would not unlock but never had one that the knob didn't move up/down. Shocking the latch with knob in unlock was the secret on them. Probably the same latch assy. being used from the corporate parts bin.
On my '11 with auto HVAC when I did a starter replacement with battery disconnected it took at least 4 start up cycles for my front temp actuator to reset itself. It was stuck on full heat. No issues after 4 months now.
For me missing badges is a sign of crash damage with a poor body shop repair or a Maaco paint job.
Buying used if badges are missing then no further inspection is needed, instant pass.
My point exactly, cellular update can glitch out corrupting data. Even your home Wi-Fi cable co. connection can ''burp'', mine does. Odds are better on your home Wi-Fi than on the cell connection.
Take it in, you paid big bucks for that rig. They will have them on while you wait.
My ''power assist steps'' went into ''shipping mode'' when I changed the battery. After more than a dozen attempts to unlock them, I gave in and took it into the dealer. They had a hard time unlocking but they...
What are the Possible Causes of the Code P1682 Chevrolet?
Faulty ignition switch
Ignition Switch harness is open or shorted
Ignition Switch circuit poor electrical connection
Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)
My money is on the ignition switch.
That's the difference between the new '23 independent suspension vs the solid rear axle.
My old '11 LTZ has electronic suspension and auto air leveling (some call it air ride).
Air bags in the rear shocks called it quits at around 100k miles, taking out the compressor.
New AC electronic air...
I've done 2 Generac installs myself with a hot box. Then again diagnosing / probing 240v appliances for years has trained me LOL. A little shock therapy now and then has kept me ''normal''. o_O
2x, I'm the same way, if I can't do I don't need it. I will farm out the crappy dirty stuff now that I'm too lazy or old to do or if it needs a lift like engine cradle drops. Gearheads on here will tackle most jobs unlike the 98% who can't even change a tire and sit on the side of the road for...
Turn the key to run, wait 5 seconds, turn off and back to run only for a few seconds then try cranking it over. If it starts right away I would say pump is not holding line pressure.
If that's the case who knows what junk pump a shop installed. Parts quality vs cost/price/profit. Words are...
