THIS RIGHT HERE ^^^ especially if it was empty...it now has air because there is a leak somewhere. You have to have it vacuumed down, and then you can tell if there is a leak if the vacuum bleeds off. Fix the leak, vacuum it down again, and refill by weight. If you are using stuff you can buy at...
^^^ you should always charge by weight. Had a similar issue with my 04 and messing around with psi via a cheapo gauge. I had a friend with a ac machine, hooked it up and vacuumed the system down, changed drier and orifice tube while I was in there, pulled vacuum again, and refilled with the...
"yeah, with a new motor" what a JOKE!!!
like @undy said, run lol.
I'd do an oil change again with the rislone and see if it helps.
Then if not take it to an engine shop and see what they think. Someone who has specifically dealt with these newer gm lifters.
Check your fuse box for anything labeled amp. I bet either the fuse for the amp blew or the amp went bad, because the head unit sends all signals to the factory amp, and then it goes from the amp out to each speaker. I don't know of a way to test head unit output before it gets to the amp though.
Be careful hooking up things when you have no clue what they go to....I doubt wiring thats been laying loose under the seat is going to solve your problem if it was working before. Pull the head unit out of the dash, make sure wiring harness isnt all cut into, pull the cup holder out of the...
If its eating coolant, maybe that's causing the lurch/misfire as well? I had a car that had a leaking head gasket, and it would run poorly on startup until the cylinder got cleaned out and then run great, so kind of the opposite as you. Stuff expands when its gets hot though. You may want to...
The only fluids I can think of that would be in that area and more of a clear color are power steering or brake, is it hydroboost? The "filter" under the oil pressure sensor is basically a little screen, it wont do much but keep big hunks out. If your engine oil is pretty clean still, it could...
Middle is tranny, right is power steering, like you thought. If it's short trips, and not every weekend, I would stick with the stock one. It's probably not worth the money to upgrade IMO. But its up to you, is your hour trip hilly? A bigger cooler will always help the tranny last longer and...
If the passenger side blows cold and driver hot, its a blend door problem. Plain and simple. They both draw cold air from the same place. Especially if the reset fixed it temporarily. Can't help on part number tho. On older models the drivers side temp actuator was under the kick panel on...
Battery was fine before or it wouldnt restart after it sat. Likely its just dead now from not getting a charge. Put it on a charger and it'll run off the battery until it dies again. While its running I'd bet your voltage is less than 12. Alternator is definitely either bad now, or truck has a...
Are you just doing this so you can walk out to a warm truck in the am? If so, a plug in heater set at 55 would be better. Easier starting and no risk of co2 poisoning. Plus that -20 air wouldn't be getting into the garage for 10 mins, costing you more to heat your house. An even better option...
