    07 / 130,000 miles cooling system work

Honestly, in my humble opinion hoses can be felt for soft spots/cracks that will predict a failure, and the water pump will start to seep out the seal before it fails. That being said, if you do want to do the job as "preventative maintenance" and you have the extra cash, I'd stick with oem...

    Differential Fluids...

Assuming the tranny shop that did the install used dex-vi, his suggestion ^^^ looks like a good option. If the shop used dex/merc, I'd put that back in it unless you are doing a full flush. They will mix but I prefer one or the other not a combo lol.

    amp grounds??

On 01-06 models, there's a ground stud on the pillar between the drivers door and rear drivers door, maybe 1' off the floor height wise. I used it when I put my amp beneath my second row. Maybe there is something similar in your year. Where are you mounting the amps?

    Differential Fluids...

I've used mobil-1 75-90 and royal purple 75-90, both which come with a limited slip additive, in both the front and rear and never had an issue. It's seen below 0 and above 100, and towing.

    Gonna be towing soon

Someone may correct me here but I believe it WILL still go into overdrive with tow/haul engaged, its just at a different rpm and speed. It'll hold 3rd longer, and on basically any type of hill, then when it flattens out or you dont have much of a load on the engine it'll go into OD. Play around...

    2002 Tahoe 2/4 Belltech kit - alignment

Does your back end bottom out any? Even with the shorter belltech bump stops? Mine does and i even have the spacers in. May want to do a free-travel mod.

    5w30 what oil to use

You are probably going to get a million different answers on this... Everybody has a different opinion, but my recommendation for the filter would be an ac pf61 filter or any decent brand equivalent. (taller than oe pf46). As for the oil, most high mileage blends are a synthetic blend, I'd run...

    2002 Tahoe 2/4 Belltech kit - alignment

Stock upper arms don't allow for a huge amount of adjustment. If you still have negative camber when the camber bolts are maxed, you'll either have to raise the front back up a little with the keys, get spindles instead, or offset upper control arm bushings. I wouldn't do adjustable ball joints.

    Another pulley maybe?

Check to see if the belt is on all the pulleys correctly, if it is maybe the belt needs replaced or one of your new pulleys is bad out of the box. Take the belt off and spin everything by hand too.

    Another pulley maybe?

No...it its affected by the different wheels it would be the wheels themselves rubbing on something, like a brake like or something strange like that. I doubt its the wheels and was probably coincidence.

    Another pulley maybe?

Maybe check air intake and make sure there are no air leaks after they put it back on? That would cause a whistle. If you can switch back to stock wheels and test drive and it goes away check to see if the new ones are rubbing or touching somewhere.

    Weird whooshing sound

Judging by the hood line Id say this is supposed to be 2000-2006? Its posted in the 2015+ section. If older model, x3 fan clutch.

Extra stopping distance...and some trial and error on proper ball mount rise amount. I normally use a 2" rise ball mount, if its a 2-5/16 ball for the trailer (which im pretty sure it will be) I'd suggest something like... https://www.etrailer.com/Ball-Mounts/Curt/C45340.html or for more rise...

    new guy here

Fat chicks cant jump....lol. That thing is crazy! Why does it appear the rear sags a little? Id level it out, maybe even a little rake, and put some regular mirrors on it. Looks like it'll be fun!

    Gonna be towing soon

Depending on the suspension mods done when lowering, it makes for a bumpy ride, especially when towing. The springs they chose play into it, as most drop springs are progressive, meaning its probably going to bottom out if you hit a big enough bump. Try not to load the tongue too heavy, but...

    Battery voltmeter

The stepper motor is bad. Can get them on ebay and do it yourself or send it in to get repaired somehwere. On a related note, found this a while back and thought it was hilarious.

Best bang for the buck Alternator

The 105 and 145 are interchangeable, they have a different length belt tho. Regardless of what you currently have, I'd just go with a locally sourced good brand 145 amp alt, reman or new is up to you but a lifetime warranty is a big plus. I don't have experience with big amperage ones but unless...

    Anyone tried these floor mats?

Look exactly like rugged ridge. I tried them in the back of my 04, and the section across the middle didn't quite lay flat because of how it was packaged, would probably flatten out on a hot day but it was winter time. Heavy duty tho.

    URGENT leaking brake line connection

I know O'Reillys has pre-made sections of brake line (with a fitting on both ends already and flared) some standard and some metric. In various lengths, and with various types of flares. I'd take in the old line to match up the thread size and pitch, flare type, and line length.

    Rear hatch support struts

Rock auto or ebay for cheap, o'reillys has sachs brand, lifetime warranty...may be worth the extra price. Also on a side note, should they push the hatch up under their own power or do you guys have to help yours up? Mine will hold it up if I pull up the hatch manually, but I have to help it.

    A/C compressor locks intermittently

Does it continue to lock up when the clutch is disengaged/ac off/free spinning? or only happens when ac is engaged with clutch locked in?
  25. mizzouguy

    A/C compressor locks intermittently

I'd say its coincidence, and you got a bad one. Theres nothing that would keep it from spinning like normal unless its installed crooked or something is causing the bearing to fail quickly.
