    Blinkers Not Working

Power goes from the turn/bu fuse, through the turn signal flasher, through the turn signal switch, to the bulb. The hazard switch is powered by the stop/haz fuse also feeds into the turn signal switch which activates both sides. I do know that if the hazard switch is activated it "overrides" the...

Rear A/C failure. Sounds coming from engine compartment.

Maybe clogged expansion valve? Orifice tube is in the metal line coming out of the drier. You'll see a nut on the line where you can unscrew them. Shouldn't need to mess with that, it only controls the front and won't affect the rear.

Rear A/C failure. Sounds coming from engine compartment.

GTFO^ lol not even the same year range. No clue... @Greg408 My truck is black and the roof/ceiling vents get hot. Takes a while to get cold air out of those vents if it's been in the sun. Even once I'm running down the road with the rear unit on full blast it never really gets cold because it's...

Rear A/C failure. Sounds coming from engine compartment.

Wow, usually the blend door itself breaks before you break the gear in the actuator. Thats weird that it still did not work. Were you feeling the air coming out the ceiling vents or the "floor" vent in the rear with the truck running when you held the blend door in the cold position? Or did you...

    All Cluster Gauges Stopped Working...

@mals and @M1Gunner thanks for the suggestions I'll check it out. Oddly enough, the last few days it has been fine.

    All Cluster Gauges Stopped Working...

Ok hopefully someone has had this issue. Driving home from work today the truck was fine. Ate dinner, went back out to run an errand and truck starts perfectly normal. Look down and cluster has lit up because headlights are on but none of the gauges have moved and the prndl screen is blank along...

    Stock Location Subwoofer

@bluebear15 I was doing good to figure out what amp i needed to order lol. I am not sure I even have it set correctly but there is definitely a difference compared to just the stock amp. It rattles things pretty good.

    Stock Location Subwoofer

@bluebear15 I put a shallow kicker 8" in mine. Has some good thump and fits fantastic, no modifications needed.

Rear A/C failure. Sounds coming from engine compartment.

I'm interested to see if it is the blend doors in the rear or some other issue.

Dramatic loss of Power with AC on

On my 04 you can definitely "feel" when the ac clutch engages and disengages going down the road. It's noticeable but not enough to be considered abnormal. And yeah I have a severe duty fan clutch dragging things down as well. Unless the compressor is locking up, just drive it.

Rear A/C failure. Sounds coming from engine compartment.

If I'm not mistaken, the rear unit uses an expansion valve setup while the front uses the orifice tube setup. I would probably start by taking off the rear passenger side panel where the evap housing is and verify the blend doors are all working correctly. I'm not sure what the external line...

Yukon 2004 collant leak repair help

It will not affect the ac system to bypass both heater cores. If you connect your inlet and outlet hoses together before they branch off of the plastic tees at the firewall you'll be ok. I would recommend disconnecting both hoses at the water pump/thermostat housing and buying a small molded...

    Boost fuel economy

Drive like a grandma and away from the city lol. I get 10-12 city or if I'm driving like a madman. 17-19 highway cruising. A new air filter and good plugs are about all you can do assuming everything else is ok. Clean maf, clean throttle body, check upstream 02 sensors, check your tire...

New AC Delco Dexron VI Synthetic ATF???

The delco dex-vi on amazon is exactly what I bought for mine for the most recent filter change at 150k. Great price for oem fluid. It's been around since gm switched to it in 2006-2007.

    01 Denali motor oil ?

I run 5-30 in mine with 150k and it does just fine. I think any oil does fine as long as its the right weight...except Pennzoil lol i won't use that stuff. Any quality filter will work fine, I prefer ac delco or wix. I usually run whatever I can find on sale, I bought about 50 quarts of mobil...

Is it just me, or does the rear wiper kind of suck?

Mine works great, i had to put a new arm on it because the spring got weak. I'd recommend a delco wiper, the way it is shaped ensures it wipes good/as designed, fits in the cradle properly, and doesnt do the 2" strip thing. I got mine on rockauto.

AC Doesn't Blow In Face or On Floor

@RED TAHOE LS vacuum operated are the worst. Put a heater core in our 83 c10 suburban with a 6.2. After i was done i couldnt switch off defrost. Soooo many little bitty color coded vacuum lines and old rubber parts lol. Ended up being the exhaust manifold pressure switch and one piece of rotted...

AC Doesn't Blow In Face or On Floor

None of it is vacuum controlled in an 03. All the actuators are electric. EDIT: When you disconnected the battery, did you let it re calibrate before you started hitting buttons? Do this: http://sparkys-answers.com/2011/08/hvac-actuator-recalibration-procedure.html If that doesnt work check this...

    AC blowing warm at idle

Did you put on the severe duty fan clutch? Or a lighter duty version? I put the severe duty on my 04 when I changed it (similar issue with ac getting warm) and that thing really roars. It sounds like a semi taking off lol. But it does a great job at keeping the ac colder. I decided to put an...

    Rear axle bottoms out

Do you have the belltech bump stops in the rear that are shorter than the oem ones? I have the same issue, running the same springs/shocks, I have the 1" spacer in the rear and the belltech bump stop cut down and it still hits. The only way to make it smooth is to raise the rear up a little with...

What gasoline brand and what octane do you guys use?

04 5.3 flex, I get 87 whoever has it the cheapest. Except Caseys, I don't like Caseys gas. I dump in some lucas fuel conditioner every couple of tanks just for the hell of it, get it by the quart at walmart and it'll treat 100 gallons for $8. $0.08 per gallon is a deal imo. Cheap...
