    OEM Nav vs. Pioneer AVH-4100NEX

Keep in mind I added 4 10s to my truck so I was trying to get the stock bose to keep up. Yes it distorted at what I would consider normalish listening volumes I was using the eq and what not to try and bump the highs up some. While the radio doesn't send a distorted signal until volume 38, I...

Planning on lowering it? 305/35/24 (not lowered or don't care if it rubs). 295/35/24 (if lowering is going to happen and you don't want to mess with inner fender mods)

    OEM Nav vs. Pioneer AVH-4100NEX

I ended up picking up some JL C2650 and JL C2650X components and 2 ways. I experienced distortion at listening levels comparable to when it had the factory HU. I tuned the new HU to 38 for max volume as this is the max volume I could go before my SMD distortion detector found distortion. I...

    USB in center console storage?

not on the factory radio. If you add the 4100NEX like you are talking about and tap into that USB wire for your #2 USB output on the back of the 4100 you can plug a usb stick in there for movies.

    OEM Nav vs. Pioneer AVH-4100NEX

Oh yeah there is absolutely distortion at high volume using the stock speakers and this HU. I also installed 4 10s when I did the HU so trying to have the stock speakers keep up with 4 subs was futile. I ended up replacing all my door speakers this past weekend. Now my truck sounds pretty...

    OEM Nav vs. Pioneer AVH-4100NEX

$839 installed sounds like a good deal to me on the 4100. The adapters and stuff you need add a couple hundred. I would have HAPPILY paid someone $50 to install mine for me. For reference best buy will charge you $160 for install. $100 for the unit and $60 for steering wheel controls. So...

    Pioneer 4100NEX installed

I replied in your other thread about having the 4000nex. I use the apple carplay and it works fantastic. I am not having the issue VTHokie is with my reverse camera. Mine always works. Supposedly the main difference between the 4000 and the 4100 is the 4100 supports android. Might be worth...

    OEM Nav vs. Pioneer AVH-4100NEX

I have the 4000NEX which is the 2014 version of the 4100NEX. Had it installed for a few weeks now. I replaced an OEM Nav HU and this one is light years better!!!!! It uses Apple or Google Maps so you get constantly updated maps. They come right from your smart phone so when FiatDale says all...
