Post pics of any grill guard or bumper replacements. Saw a diamond white LTZ, no level, and 275/55/20 ko2 and a Ranch Hand Grill Guard and it looked great. Love the Ranch Hand, and would like to add one to the Denali, but would hate to spend the money and it not look right..
I also figured this...
Yes the 285 will rub with no level. It will also not look good....
But with a leveling kit it will look great.
The 275 will also probably rub. Both will look way better if you put a leveling kit on. Just a 2" in the front is all you need. the stuffed stock look is not a good one in my...
I got them and they made driving my Denali pretty much unbearable. it was awful. That being said, I think they sent me the wrong model because it lifted the front like 4" instead of 2.5". It was weird... They did send me a full refund though, so it wasn't too big of a deal. Give it shot.
2 questions:
1) Oil change guy tells me I should ignore what the on-board computer tells me about engine oil life, and that I should do it at the recommended 3,000 miles on the sticker- I know this is just a sales thing, but my question is- with 114,000 miles how often should I change it, and...
Thanks. I'm really enjoying the tires. I'm running them about 37 psi and they're great.
Post pics after the valence trim. I'm very happy with it.
I forget how noticeable it is until I see another Tahoe/Yukon coming head on that has the entire thing missing.
The 285/55/r20 toyo's I got are a 10 ply tire. They seriously ride noticeably better than the 275/55/20 ko2. I can tell a little loss in power but not too bad. As far as gas mileage... Getting about 9.5 in town so far, but I tend to be pretty throttle happy (the 6.2 is too much fun to not lay in...
I got $500 for my old tires so I went the more expensive route. Also The 285 is an "extreme" size meaning it has the deeper lugs. They hum more than my bfg's, but the ride is noticeably better. All around pretty satisfied.
Cost is a concern. I don't want to look over-stuffed either. 285/55/20 will be noticeably larger looking than 275/55 correct? I'm thinking 285 may be best bet for my set up
I came across the picture below in a search. I really like this set up (1.5" level & 285s), but no one ever seems to do it. I have 275/55/20 bfg ko2 (measuring right at 31" tall maybe a hair more) and its too small.
I think I wont like 275/60/20 because it will look too tall and skinny. I'm...
