Welcome to the dropped rubbing club. I completely removed all the plastic inners and I still rub on the firewall in the front. You can trim yours and get rid of some of the rubbing. Good luck :superhack:
I understand. Just raise it back up. I have Belltech suspension parts with airbags and I still have the problem. I like others just deal with it.
Good luck :Handshake:
Has nothing to do with the camber or alignment issue. The dealer probably going to tell you to raise it back up. Most of us that are lowered get this but blow it off as part of being lowered. What size wheels are you running?
Mine is an 07 but the only thing needed were the rear bags. They went in place where the rear springs were. All the rest of the suspension is the same. We did move the panhard bar, so the rear end was centered when down.
Mine is in the area near the headlamp switch. I'll take a pic.
Yates I listen to all type of music, so I adjust the bass often, especially with three 12's :)
Mine is just bagged, for now.
Mine is a NNBS but heres what I have.
Front
Dropped spindles
Strut bags
Belltech adjustable struts
Rear
Contitect bags (where the springs were)
Belltech shocks
Steelbraided airlines
AVS box
Viair 480 compressors
Two 3 gallon tanks
Asco valves...
I have always used HRE on my Vettes and Viper. As far as an SUV (26's) I don't understand the use unless you have money to burn. You can purchase a nice set of 26's and spend the rest of the money on suspension, stereo, performance, interior and ect. Again its all about preference :)
Wow thats the first time I've seen the steering wheel done, very cool.
I had mine down at a shop and they charged me $300 to remove 2 stage and reinstall.
Most people run 305-30-26 and you will have rubbing. I removed my inner fender wells and still rub on the firewall. I plan on laying mine out so the firewall will be tubbed then. Deal with the rubbing its worth it in looks ;)
I have tried 2 different brands and neither one lated 1 year. I gave up and just put some Silver Stars in. They suck but at least I don't have to worry about them going out.....
A complete color change from a quality shop would be at least 10k. Now depending where you live and if you want to cut some corners it could cost less.
