That's not a bad idea. Easy mount location. I'll think about that!

I'm not quite sure I understand... Could you clarify please? Thanks!
Hi,
I recently installed a new double din Pioneer HU with a reverse camera. This HU also has a second camera input to turn on whenever you want. I'm looking for suggestions as to where to put the second camera. At first I thought it would be cool to put under the vehicle to see the...
Is there a tutorial somewhere? My kit is Rough Country but didn't come with instructions. Is that a good idea to cut them off? What are they there to prevent?
About a month ago I had a 3" key and 2" spacer kit installed on my 2004 Yukon. All was great until this week when college started up again and I had to go back to the campus's awful parking lot transitions and that's where I heard (and felt) clanking when going over the huge bumps.
When I...
Any chance it would be this one? I was looking at it last night and its seems promising.

The headphone jacks not working isn't a big deal for me. As long as the wireless ones work fine. Are you...
Yeah that looks nice. Did you need any interfaces for steering wheel controls or door chimes or anything? The main reason I was wanting a stock radio was so that nothing would really change much.
Stock height is already impractical haha. Especially on the new 2015s I've noticed. They are way too low. A lift kit would be essential if I had one of those.
Hmm okay that makes sense about the nav disc I guess. Not a big deal since I don't have any CDs. I have a 6 Disc changer now and its pretty worthless to me haha. Well I wasn't aware you could make a camera work with that radio. That's pretty cool.
Sadly, I am now leaning towards an...
On a side note (that I think could possibly benefit a lot of people), what would I ask for if I were to go to my dealer? I'm worried about getting that stare from the parts guy as he tries to wrap his mind around what I'm talking about. Is there a more official name for this yoke of maybe a part...
I'm assuming that the nav disc gets installed and then you don't need it after that? Great, that makes me less nervous about this radio. So how did you get a rearview camera to work on the stock radio?
Well everyone you have successfully talked me into a 3" key and 2" spacer lift. Finally ordered it yesterday. I'll install it as soon as I can. The biggest selling point for me was finding out that the ride quality wouldn't be messed with much. Thanks for the help guys.
Alright I'll see what I can find. Yeah its pretty tempting to go aftermarket but I kind of like the stock look for the interior. And all the interfaces don't sound like much fun. I think I would need 3 interfaces for an aftermarket setup. I already have 2 and it really sucks if I have to take...
Oh okay got it. No I meant just the antenna at the stealership.

Also the one I'm looking at came from a 2005 H2. Do you know if that would still be a non lux? The number is 15800000
Perfect, thank you! So you're saying that the antenna just sits on your dash? And do you think that would be very expensive at the dealer or should I look for it on eBay or something? I could always go ask the dealer I suppose.
I'm wanting to install a factory nav headunit in my 2004 Yukon SLT with Bose. I read on another forum that someone with an 04 Tahoe was able to just plug the new stereo in and it worked fine. He mentioned he had to plug in the navigation antenna as well. So I'm wondering where the antenna port...
Hello everyone,
I recently bought some Denali headlights for my non-Denali 2004 and had one of the top plastic brackets snap that holds one of the headlight pins. This causes the driver's side headlight to constantly jiggle. If anyone has a headlight sitting in their garage that they'd be...
I might consider that. But my biggest thing about keys is that they stiffen up the suspension and I would like to keep the stock ride. Maybe it wouldn't be very much different with only 2" keys? And I kinda wanted something I could do myself as a little project. I'm not comfortable doing keys...
Been looking everywhere for a 2" kit for my 2004 Yukon. There's a ton of 3" kits but I don't want quite that much lift and I don't want to mess with extending radiator hoses and stuff. There's a bunch of 2" kits for ones up to 1999. What's the difference with mine? Anybody know where to find one?
After seeing how many various wiring harnesses I would've needed to keep my DVD, steering wheel controls, door chimes, and OnStar I quickly decided to keep the stock headunit (and get a bluetooth module for it). There's also hardly any room behind the stereo so that's a giant pain in the ass...
