    Trans Cooler

How do you figure up what size cooler you need? I know the GVW is around 7500-8000 with all us and luggage. Then another 4000ish for the trailer and atv's we usually pull. So all together that would be 12000-15000....yet what I read is that I should get one that is rated at 22000-26000 JUST...

    Trans Cooler

leaking on both where it turns from the hard line to the rubber....guessing leaking from the clamp like it seems they all do. So was just going to redo it with rubber hose again and hose clamps. Since I was doing that I was going to go ahead with a cooler since I will already be doing half the...

    Trans Cooler

Trying to route it like OEM. I thought it went from the trans, cooler, radiator, back to trans?

    Trans Cooler

Yeah I would probably just do hose and not the OEM lines. The lines are leaking already coming from the radiator, so that's what I figured I would do but then saw I didn't have a cooler and figured I would add one but wanted to get the lines right before I dove in. The line that is going to...

    Trans Cooler

How would I run the lines if I don't have a oem one. Would I take the top radiator one, cut it and run it to one side of the transmission cooler.....then take the other side and run it up to the radiator and get one of the adapters that screws into the radiator? Also I am guessing like power...

    Oil catch cans

You can use about anything, it might not work the "best" though. I went to home depot and bought a air/water separator for a air compressor and am using it. Catches oil just fine, but might not be the best thing to use or out there

    Trans Cooler

I saw where they were mounting them. Could you take a picture of where you cut into the linescrew and which goes to which by chance

    Trans Cooler

I was looking at an aftermarket one and have heard I could just splice into the lines going into the radiator. I just didn't know if that was true or not. OEM is small and for the price I'm sure I could get a bigger one.....just don't know how exactly to install it since I don't have an OEM...

    Trans Cooler

I am looking at adding a trans cooler to our 07 Yukon. Its the SLE with the FF 5.3, does have the towing package with 3.73 gears.....sadly no oem trans cooler though. How hard would it be to add a aftermarket one? We do a little towing, but will be towing a 16 foot enclosed with 4 atv's...

    HELP!!! Middle row stuck down

I ended up taking the seat apart and got it fixed. Had to take both sides off the belt to fix it

    HELP!!! Middle row stuck down

Yep the one built in. I took the side piece off and undid the bolt holding it. It retracted all the way in and won't pull out at all. Only thing I can think is to disassemble the whole seat to take the seat belt out or to try to figure out how to fix it

    HELP!!! Middle row stuck down

So I was cleaning out our 07 yukon today and folded the middle seats up to clean under them. I folded the passenger side (40 side) down and when I went to fold down the drivers side (60 side) it wont unfold. It seems like the middle seat belt is stuck in a retractable state. I tried folding...

How to install DDM HID kit on low beams w/ relay harness

Just a quick question. Have had mine for over a year and a bulb burnt out, so I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement. So I got to thinking, does it matter which side the grounding bar goes? I have them both pointed "in" towards each other right now. This will be on my Yukon

    Headlight Aiming

Here are a couple of pictures I got off the internet. The little tabs on the circle are pretty much all gone, so it wont turn to adjust the beam up and down. This one just shows the back of the headlight This one is where the screw meets the circle thing This one you can see the...

    Headlight Aiming

I know of the adjustment screw on the top, but when I took out the headlights to replace the bulb I noticed that where the screw goes into that the tabs are almost all broke off. Because of that, it won't spin and I can't adjust the headlight on the passenger side. Is there a different way or...

    U-joint replacement Advice

I have a buddy that works in the Chevy dealers parts. I called him and he just said bring it in so I did and one of the mechanics took it out and put the other one in. He said that he hears them banging on them all the time and even the mechanic just soaked it with PB Blaster and then hit it...

    U-joint replacement Advice

Im sure it does as both the yoke and rear one had it on mine. Melted the plastic out and tried the hammer method....yeah its not happening. It didn't budge at all and that was with it still being warm from the torch. The ball joint tool thing might work, but I don't have an impact so I...

    U-joint replacement Advice

This is my first time dealing with the u-joints on our Yukon. I know that they have the plastic pin in them that I have to heat until it oozes out and pops. I don't have a press or anything so I was going to try a C-clamp or the hammer and socket method. Everything I see on you-tube is for...

    Weird Sounds

Ok so I drove it today to look at it. I checked the coolant and it was right on, no gunk under the cap and smelled like coolant. Checked the trans dip stick and it was locked, pulled it out and smelled the fluid. Smelled like trans fluid and was nice and red, so I doubt that is the issue...

    Weird Sounds

So we went on a road trip for the 4th and since I usually don't drive the Yukon, the wife's kid hauler, I noticed a couple of things. When we start to accelerate, there is a squeek noise coming from I believe the passenger rear tire. I had her drive and stuck my head out the window and it...

How to install DDM HID kit on low beams w/ relay harness

Yeah they are backwards. I looked up the wiring for the stock socket. Then found a site that had what the blue and white were for the HIDs and they are indeed backwards. The vendor sent me a new harness and that one would of been backwards to, but it has 2 little boxes that is suppose to stop...
