I really can’t imagine one is more problematic then the other given they have the same options but I could be wrong. Besides the interior they’re basically the same vehicle.
I know the differences, we’re not in need of a vehicle so I know well be waiting on whatever gets ordered. Just wondering what made someone choose the high country.
We’re getting ready to order a new duramax suburban and my wife prefers the looks of the suburban over the XL. I like them both from an exterior standpoint but when she saw an all black high country that sealed the deal.
Optioned similarly the Denali is only $600 more and seems like a better...
In this thread most guys are saying the Z71/AT4 is no taller then the rest. https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/2021-tahoe-z71-rough-country-says-no-to-2-lift.132249/
I like the AT4s a lot but can’t justify the additional cost over a Z71. Once I get close to Denali cost I’ll just go that...
The Z71 offroad package comes with adaptive air ride and the offroad capability package comes with adaptive air ride and magnetic ride control, I was only planning on getting the luxury and max trailering packages. In the standard features all it says is premium smooth ride suspension, you’re...
Looking to order a new suburban tomorrow, my wife likes the Z71 for the lack of chrome and offroad look but I’d really like to get the diesel option if it can be had in a reasonable amount of time.
Only comparing the base suspension, I have no desire for air or magnetic ride as we tend to keep...
Those are the ones I ordered. Have you run anything bigger then an S2 on there? Any vibration? Do you think the lights would need removed to open the hood if running a 3” pod? Thanks.
Thats crazy cause I see a lot of guys with only 2.5” up front clearing the same tire. More positive offset would probably help with clearance. Looks great by the way.
I’m sure it’ll be fine, they say with their leveling kit you MAY need to run a 1/2” spacer with factory 22s which have probably double or more offset then my wheels so I’m not concerned about it.
Stormins actually the one that recommended those control arms lol. I had not read that as I didn’t look at the 4” kit but I guess I’ll find out. Hopefully it all works out. It’s hard to find replacement control arms in general for the factory stamped arms.
I was thinking I should probably add shock extensions. They’re +12 offset so should be pretty close to flush with the fender. They’re definitely an interesting design, I gave my wife about 20 wheels to choose from and those are the ones she liked best. All she knew is she wanted black lol.
Wheels and 2.5” suspensionmaxx front kit showed up today. Now I’m just waiting on the rear spacers and UCAs.
my tire guy is getting me some prices on the following all in 285/60R20
-Nitto ridge grapplers
-Toyo R/T
-Cooper St maxx
I’ve ran all 3 of these on my ram diesels and my 96 F350 4x4...
@Sparksalot for the win. I never search Amazon for this kind of stuff because their search engine sucks and usually brings up parts for every vehicle but the one you searched but I found one company that makes then for the 15+ platform. They’re certainly not SDHQ but I don’t need them to hold an...
