I would really like to figure this out... Did TRS try to help at all? This sucks since I was going to do the BFC retrofit, but I guess it would be a waste if I can't get the HIDs to even work.. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. I will post a more detailed description. I may post this... -

I am having this same issue w/ my Morimoto 5500K 35W kit....I am beyond frustrated at this point as taking the bumper on and off is getting old. I have done all of the troubleshooting as well and all of the components of the kit are working. I can get everything working the on passengers side... -

Mine is not wood grain... It is black textured plastic like the back of the center console controls, so I left it alone for now. That area gets a lot of wear as your arm is always resting on it and the tray part would be tricky. I may try it though as it would be a nice contrast off the cashmere... -

Thanks, I appreciate the info! I am pulling the wiring from and existing system in my Acura TSX. 4 gauge wire (with the fuse exactly as you stated), runs to the JL 500/1 amp that powers my JL 10W7 (W7 I will no longer be using if anyone is interested). I will double check the ohms but I am 95%...- Mester320

I am running the inline fuse on the power cable that runs from the battery to the amp. As for the line out converter do I tap into the stock subs wiring to get my signal? So I have everything that I need to put a system in the Tahoe just laying around so I figured why not. I will be buying the box from Rodney's Boxes on eBay (the one that goes between the back captains chairs). I am putting a JL 10w3v3 in it and I will be powering it with a JL 500/1 slash v2 amp...- Mester320

Painting Stock wheels black
I have these exact wheels in black and please do not paint them. Just take them off get them sand blasted and take them to a professional powder coater. The powder coating left a perfect glossy black finish. It only ran me a about $200 but makes a huge difference. Ill try to get pics... -
Nite shade question
My first coat on mine was shitty to so i went and got really fine grit sand paper like what you would use to do a wet sand. they look like little bumps mine did the same thing but sand them away and just rough them up a lil and spray again but the clear coat will make them shine.
