I would really like to figure this out... Did TRS try to help at all? This sucks since I was going to do the BFC retrofit, but I guess it would be a waste if I can't get the HIDs to even work.. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. I will post a more detailed description. I may post this...
I am having this same issue w/ my Morimoto 5500K 35W kit....I am beyond frustrated at this point as taking the bumper on and off is getting old. I have done all of the troubleshooting as well and all of the components of the kit are working. I can get everything working the on passengers side...
Ok thanks for the info! I would prefer to his the amp so I am going to try the center console first. As far as the Bose wiring do you remember which wires you tapped into? I appreciate all the help!

Yes, it really does! I couldn't be happier with the end result. With that said it is a tricky process and if you are not fairly experienced with vinyl wrapping it may be very frustrating and costly. If any of you are going to try this and have not wrapped anything before I would recommend buying...
I do have the back window switches done just no pictures off them. I can get pictures if you would like.
Here is a picture of my center console arm rest.

Mine is not wood grain... It is black textured plastic like the back of the center console controls, so I left it alone for now. That area gets a lot of wear as your arm is always resting on it and the tray part would be tricky. I may try it though as it would be a nice contrast off the cashmere...
Thanks, I appreciate the info!
I am pulling the wiring from and existing system in my Acura TSX. 4 gauge wire (with the fuse exactly as you stated), runs to the JL 500/1 amp that powers my JL 10W7 (W7 I will no longer be using if anyone is interested).
I will double check the ohms but I am 95%...
I am running the inline fuse on the power cable that runs from the battery to the amp. As for the line out converter do I tap into the stock subs wiring to get my signal? I have used the line output converters before but just tapped into a 6x9.
Amp Dimensions:
Height (H) 2.36 in / 60 mm...
So I have everything that I need to put a system in the Tahoe just laying around so I figured why not. I will be buying the box from Rodney's Boxes on eBay (the one that goes between the back captains chairs). I am putting a JL 10w3v3 in it and I will be powering it with a JL 500/1 slash v2 amp...
Thanks!! Off topic but just got the weather techs in today too and figured I would share a pic. I would recommend them to anyone

Another thing that I forgot to mention which is pretty important for someone wanting to do this. Because of the way the grain goes and matching with the correct direction on the trim you will need a 4'x3' section of vinyl. I had extra but trust me you want to incase something goes wrong or if a...
This is my first post here and I recently picked up a pristine 2012 Tahoe LTZ WDT. I am absolutely in love with the car even though it is my wife's DD. Any excuse I get to drive it I jump at the chance. Like push my wife out of the way to grab the keys. I had a 04 NBS and loved it but traded for...
Well I have a black 04' Tahoe and had a local dealer put black leather in it. $1000 and 5 year warranty and i love it as long as you take care of it and treat the leather it looks better than the stock tan or gray any day.
Well since this is now a huge debate and I have HID's in my stock headlights which seems to be what everyone hates I for one think they look alot better. I had the shitty projectors with HID's and they sucked compared to my stock ones so if you dont care about glare or what other people think go...
I have these exact wheels in black and please do not paint them. Just take them off get them sand blasted and take them to a professional powder coater. The powder coating left a perfect glossy black finish. It only ran me a about $200 but makes a huge difference. Ill try to get pics...
My first coat on mine was shitty to so i went and got really fine grit sand paper like what you would use to do a wet sand. they look like little bumps mine did the same thing but sand them away and just rough them up a lil and spray again but the clear coat will make them shine.
