    Found the problem. Bad sparkplug wire. It got caught on the steering intermediate shaft and pulled off the coil while wheeling in the sand today. Found the plug end had also come apart some time ago. patched it back together and running good again.

    04 Denali, long cranking before starting

    Could be one or more leaking injectors. Pintle leaking pressure into the intake manifold causing a really rich mix on one cylinder and leaving no pressure in the lines overnight. Try keying it on and off a few times to prime the system before starting.

    @swathdiver Ive never driven one myself, but my dad put one in his nova after I left Kalifornia. The 5.00:1 gears didnt like the shock loading nuch.

    This was a 454 Muncie M22 car. I imagine the torque, shock load, and racing slicks were just too much for the clutches.
