Wheel locks are deterrent at best. 90% of the people that have them keep the key socket in the vehicle so all you need is an extra person to break into the vehicle while the others do the prep work.
No lift kit across the industry is going to give you the exact height, not sure why but if you look at tow identical trucks with 6" lifts from different manufacturers they will not be the same height, some may actually be a 5", some a 7", and everywhere in between.
If they told you it would sit level I would be upset too. What size is the front spacer? I would think if the rear is 3" the front would have to be 5" to be level or 4" and 2".
Take a minute to measure the spacers and that will give you all the answers for what you need. If Fabtech tells you that it should be level and the front and rear are raised 4" there is no possible way this can happen or if they sent you rear spacers for a 6" instead of 4" lift you can tell them...
Measure spacer heights and see what that gives you for lift. If I am looking at the correctly that is all they are doing for the lift portion but then providing . If they send a 4" spacer for the differential drop for CV angles and upper control arms for a fix to BJ angles. If the front measures...
Post up pics. Never heard of the CV axle being too short in this situation but normally it is that leveling kits put them at enough of an angle that they will fail especially if they are older.
Depending on how you buy the hit isn't bad. I was offered around $5k less then what I paid for me truck being almost two years old and over 30k miles. I have seen used trucks sell for the same or more than in paid for mine new.
You could easily run 1-3 gallon tank, a small viair compressor with a pressure switch, and a coupler mounted in the rear. Then whenever you need air you can plug in the airline and fill tires, cb4 once your done your tank would refill and be ready.
Start watching Craigslist and eBay, depending on your area, how far you're willing to drive, negotiating skills, and if you will buy quickly. You should be able to grab a set of 22s with tires for $1-2k.
