Part shows delivered to wrong address

Lack of communication and lack of a way to get ahold of a real person when something goes wrong has always been my gripe with Rock Auto. Sometimes your issue doesn't fit neatly into their list of predefined problem descriptions so it is hard to get satisfaction. The flip side of the coin is...

Screen DVD Unlock By-Pass for Front Seat

Best is a matter of opinion, of course. I went with the Kenwood because it has built in Garmin GPS and it is a great HU in my opinion. As for keeping all the factory functionality is concerned, the IDatalink Maestro is the way to go. If you get an IDatalink compatible HU you get more features...

2012 Yukon XL Denali front suspension seems overly stiff

Don't beat yourself up too much, you aren't the first to make this mistake. The "height" sensor is for the AutoRide systems dampening control and the protective boot is basically a dust/mud shield for the strut.

    07-14 Tahoe/Yukon Cargo shade & Cargo mat

I figured as much but thought I would ask. I found out that they can be installed upside down one time when I went to install it and it didn't line up properly with the powered liftgate side of my Burb.

Screen DVD Unlock By-Pass for Front Seat

At that price I would put that towards a nice Kenwood... but that is just my opinion.

2012 Yukon XL Denali front suspension seems overly stiff

Just FYI... the front struts have absolutely nothing to do with the "air ride" portion of the rear suspension. The AutoRide system (RPO code Z55) controls the valving of the rear shocks and front struts electronically. It stiffens or softens according to the terrain. The Auto leveling system...

    07-14 Tahoe/Yukon Cargo shade & Cargo mat

Did you try flipping it over? The reason I ask is because they can be installed upside down. The power liftgate motor is on the driverside so the offset should be toward the passenger side.

    2nd Gen Z71 Rack on a 3rd Gen Tahoe

The long bodies (Suburban, Yukon XL, Escalade ESV) are all interchangeable. The Tahoe rack is too short for a long body. So as long as you got the rack from a long body GMT800 it would fit the GMT900.

Kbuskill's 2008 Burb LTZ "MOD" Thread

Also got the new 6000k HID bulbs put into the Morimoto projectors today. I like them a lot better than the 5000k bulbs. I will have to get some night pics soon.

Kbuskill's 2008 Burb LTZ "MOD" Thread

Got the UOA report back from Blackstone today. This is the first report with the new Delvac Extreme 15w40 oil. I think the lead is finally starting to get washed out of the aftermarket oil cooler because the engine is as quite as a church mouse. The TBN (additives package) is a strong 3.7...

Keeping coolant and transmission temps under control when towing in the summer heat

It would be interesting to know how much of a difference the new baffles on either side of the radiator made.

2007 GMC Denali stalls after towing

I have an aftermarket oil cooler, not the factory oil cooler, and my oil temperature runs consistently at around 210°- 215°. To give a little more context, this is just with normal driving around town or on the interstate, not towing or anything. This is in the Florida heat, however I do have a...

Keeping coolant and transmission temps under control when towing in the summer heat

I am definitely interested in how much of a difference this makes. Mine have been MIA for a while, but I don't really do any towing. I have a decent sized external transmission cooler I put on the Burb to replace the factory Auxiliary cooler but it isn't as big as a 40k... You can see it is...

New LED projector headlights for Yukon

I contacted TRS about an '07-'14 Tahoe/Suburban version and this was their response.... "Thanks for reaching out. We do not have plans on making the XB LED Headlights for the 07-14 Tahoe at this time. Alpharex does have a couple of sets that will fit your vehicle though."

    Tonyrodz's Tahoe Build Thread

Should be under data display or live data or something like that. Both upstream sensors should fluctuate back and forth fairly rapidly. They could be similar, as far as MV is concerned, but they definitely won't match. And No, the upstream sensors will not match the down stream sensors. The...

    K&N oil filters disappointment

The Fram Ultraguard seems to be all the rage over on "Bob is the oil guy" forum. Previously I wouldn't have used a Fram filter on my lawnmower, and I still wouldn't except for the Ultraguard, but I tried them on my last OCI. I had previously been running the M1 EP filters. As the other guys...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

The pellets are charcoal pellets that get sucked out of the EVAP canister when the cloth "filter" gets breached. This is caused by overfilling the gas tank which soaks the filter material in the canister causing it to break down over time. The pellets find there way into the EVAP lines going to...

    Tonyrodz's Tahoe Build Thread

The upstream O2 sensors MV should bounce back and forth constantly between 1xx MV and 9xx MV if they are reading properly because they are constantly adjusting the fuel trims. He probably just snapped the pic when it was making it swing to the lower end of the spectrum. Sometimes you can...
