Is there a direct-fit muffler upgrade? 2014 Yukon SLT

@Charlie207 I had this muffler as well and loved it before going through many other iterations of exhaust combinations. I have several videos on YouTube of the different exhaust combinations I have been through if you want to hear a variation of exhausts on the same truck. Here is my current...

    3/4 drop on 24s & towing

Tire width plays a big role in whether or not you have rubbing. My 4/6 Burb had zero rubbing in the rear and only minor rubbing in the front running 285/40/22 tires on my 9.5" wide 30mm offset wheels. Then I installed 305/40/22s and they rubbed everywhere, to the point that I ended up lifting...

    Ly6 6.0

I would either get a towing cam, what we used to call an RV cam, or call Vinci and get a custom cam ground for it. As for swapping the heads, I'm not 100% sure about the 5.3 heads on the 6.0 block... back in the old SBC days you could put the 305 (5.0l) heads onto a 350 (5.7l) or 400 (6.6l) to...

    Stabilitrack and traction control lights

@tights24 P0300 is a Random Misfire... not a hard/dedicated misfire. That alone will cause the Stabilitrac and Traction Control lights to come on... which scares a lot of people into thinking there is more wrong/going on then there actually is. P0455 is a Gross Leak on the EVAP system which...

    Lowering ppv

When I had the 6" drop springs in the rear I put the helper bags in them and installed both shrader valves inside the gas tank filler neck area. It is a little tight but not that bad...

    Lowering ppv

I am running the TBSS air bags in the rear but I have them hooked to my factory auto leveling compressor so they automatically adjust for added weight. They work well and ride great with the Rancho 9 way adjustable shocks I'm running.

I was beginning to wonder if the local Mobil station was jacking up the ethanol content and not telling anyone... lol

    P1174 2008 Yukon Denali

Torque Pro can definitely look at STFTs and LTFTs. You may need to set up extra GM PIDs in the settings though, I don't remember.

    P1174 2008 Yukon Denali

It doesn't have a physical sensor, it has a virtual sensor so to speak. It uses the O2 sensors and fuel trim data to calculate the ethanol percentage. You can set up a custom PID in Torque Pro using these parameters to see your Ethanol percentage...

    Yes you can.

Check your ethanol percentage with a Tech 2 or an OBD2 adapter and Torque Pro app.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

They did, well an inline 5 cylinder, except for the Alpha which had the 5.3l RPO LH8.

    P0442 MIL

Just wanted to update this. I had reset my ethanol content the other day and it stayed at 3% like it should until I filled up the truck today. I added 26 gallons of ethanol free 89 octane and drove around until the Tech 2 showed that it was no longer learning the ethanol content. During the...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Just to clear up confusion. The mounts that fit our trucks are for the passenger side of the Hummer H3 Alpha, which came with the 5.3l. You will need two passenger side mounts to replace both mounts in our rigs. And they work beautifully I might add.

    Good aftermarket headunit

Sirius/XM works on my Kenwood with the Maestro... no additional adapter needed. My truck is an '08 so I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not.

    Long body lowered on 24s

Thanks! It was time for tires and I wanted to try out a set of 70,000 mile rated Michelins. Unfortunately Michelin doesn't make a 285/40/22 which is the size I was running without any issues. The only two sizes I had to choose from was a 295/40 for $470 each or a 305/40 for $232 each...

The dash boards, at least behind the HU should all be the same. Some of the trucks have the upgraded Bose system with the center speaker in the dash but as far as I know they have the same amount of space behind the HU. I did cut and remove some plastic behind my HU just to make some extra room...
