Passenger side steering rack bushing? replacing

I replaced mine with a poly bushing. It was a fight getting the poly bushing back onto the rack, hopefully the rubber is a little more forgiving. You just unbolt the 2 bolts that hold the bracket and bushing in place and slide it towards wheel. You will have to slide the accordian boot over but...

We finally have an answer after all this time. I wonder if you took it off if it would make any discernable difference?... somehow I doubt it... lol

What is this plate on my oil pan???

As mentioned above, unfortunately, not a quick access. Pan is solid on the inside.

Let's sift through every square inch of a 2013 Tahoe PPV

Sounds like your axle needs to rotate (change Pinion angle) in order to line up properly. Mine are bolted flat to the axle and everything lines up with stock upper and lower trailing arms.

Let's sift through every square inch of a 2013 Tahoe PPV

Those brackets are supposed to be bolted to the axle not hanging down like that. I'm not sure if I have any good pics... I will look.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I think that statement applies to most everyone on this forum. While there are probably a few "certified" mechanics on this forum, I would say the majority of us are just certifiable... lol If you are like me and like to do your own stunts, then I would say it is an invaluable tool to have.

    The KidWagon

I do have the axle relocation brackets similar to the ones pictured. I researched and found an aftermarket air shock with the same collapsed/extended length as the Belltech drop shocks and ran those. They rode nice, my only complaint was if you get into a situation where there is a repetitive...

I cut the tabs and the crossmember just to be safe. And Yes, not a big trailer, like a 6X12 open trailer with, you know, "Stuff" on it... lol I like keeping the Auto leveling because it is nice being able to load up all the family and luggage and cooler and whatnot and not have to worry about...

    The KidWagon

I lifted mine back up 2" all the way around after buying new tires that were too wide. But to answer your question, NO. When I had the 6" drop springs out back nothing bottomed out after notching the crossmember where the panhard bar bracket on the axle would make contact if you hit a big bump...

Link says 0"- 6" lift. Are they short enough to center the axle with your truck being lowered?

Randeez 2012 Budget Yukon Denali Build (stick on hood scoops galore)

Interesting, did you have to upgrade the wiring going to the pumps? Seems like the factory wiring wouldn't support both pumps.

Randeez 2012 Budget Yukon Denali Build (stick on hood scoops galore)

I always wondered how they did dual pumps in the tank. Never enough to research it, but was kinda curious nonetheless. Is there any kind of check valves that keep the pumps from fighting each other or???

    Exhaust Question

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnuson%E2%80%93Moss_Warranty_Act Basically, you can do whatever you want and if a warranty claim is ever made the "Dealership", or whomever, would have to prove that your exhaust is what caused the issue that you are claiming under warranty. The ownus is on the...

    Useless Information

You were right on the money with your assessment, as usual. To make a long story short I also got a P0641 code the other day which caused the truck to go into "reduced power mode". Turns out the 5V reference circuit, which feeds 7 different sensors, was shorting out to the drivers side knock...

Thanks for all the info. I didn't realize when I asked the original question that your truck was a Hybrid. That all makes sense. I knew they were a lot different but have no firsthand experience with them. One thing I never understood is why they used the 6.0 instead of the 4.8. Seems...
