Sorry... I failed to say the other RPO code. My POINT was " ZW7" isn't necessarily NIVOMAT. Even though, many people said, ZW7.... " Oh, that's NIVOMAT"...- mountie

On my '05 Yukon, I also have the ZW7 " Premium Smooth Ride" suspension..... But there is a few versions of the" Premium Smooth Ride". I don't have the G67 RPO, for the self-leveling Nivomats ( also called Sachs shocks). I don't have the air compressor version either..... Just the "Premium...- mountie

What weight oil do you use in the South?
'05 Yukon Xl 5.3 Mobil 1 syn, 5w-30w.. For the last 5 years, all my gauges have never changed, no matter what I do or what the weather is. Even at oil changes, the oil still looks very clean.- mountie

This is what happened to my tahoe in May
I just noticed this thread...... 2 days ago, driving on a 3-lane street..... I was in the middle lane....driving the 50mph speed limit..... I saw ahead, traffic was slowing, due to a traffic light. I slowed down a bit..... Preparing to apply more brakes.... SUDDENLY, the truck ahead of me...- mountie

in in my '05, I disconnected my OnStar box, with an analog replacement. i can use the factory phone setup without the OnStar fees and no more sending of 'signals'. -

I read that description..... Plus... The purge valve, does not effect the gas pump- filling problem... When the truck is turned off, that valve is closed... I suppose....- mountie

ZW7 is 'premium smooth ride'... But Nivomats option requires also the RPO code, either G65 or G69. If not the G codes you get, what I have, the 'premium shocks'. Nivomats code is the added 'G' RPOs...... ZW7 has 3 or more options. It took research to decipher all the opinions. ( Now you...- mountie

Nivomats or the ZW7 premium shocks worked fine....?.. ( just trying to keep my brain matter organized ) My Yukon rides nice and smooth, and pretty nice over bumps. Lately, when I run over little bumps, at medium speed, I do feel it, probably due to the age of the shocks?..... I don't want...- mountie
