I agree...... The guy told me the Nivomats are an old antique design, and are not like new technology. I later said, " Ok..... so tell me what shock I would buy, and keep my springs. He never responded. Maybe I'll go ahead and buy the factory installed shocks. My current original shocks...- mountie

2005 Suspension Question
Shock Warehouse : It looks like their VERSION of the SUGGESTED / CORRECT rear shock? In other words, they don't have anything in stock for a "premium smooth ride". ( Funny.... they have " no reviews " for this specific shock..... I wonder why...... Note the highlighted words" " heavy duty...- mountie

Anyone replaced their unused spare tire due to age?
From what we talk about... lowering the spare tire...... I should do that some day, to see if mine will actually, lower...... i just haven't been in the mood, incase it gets stuck half way..... I don't have a lift..... Not going to try when it's on the garage floor. -

After many weeks to research a complicated issue..... rear shocks..... I have ZW7 premium smooth ride, no Nivomats. I don't have the added RPO #'s G65 or G69. So, my rears are the 'premium shocks. What’s wrong with those tires on the pictures?
( race cars.. yea... )...... For a while, I worked for the Corvette guy, Dick Guldstrand ( Burbank, Ca)...... He aligned the rear axle on my '88 GMC truck. I didn't 'hit' anything, but after years of driving, it needed a little adjustment.- mountie

Newbie be gentle
A bummer, after buying your Esky, then having to do all this stuff...... ( This won't help, but..... another reason I LOVE my '05 Yukon Xl..... Most of my engine work requires a couple tye wraps and a cloth.... with 175,000 on the clock. BUT... The advice in this forum is great, for all year...- mountie

ISO: Wiper arms with splines
Cleaning my windshield...... I get a small hand towel and roll it into a ball, and stuff it under the wiper arm at the base to lift. -

Considering the CFM at your throttle body.... Your engine can only receive so much air. -

I put an Air Raid intake... attached to the stock filter, where the intake is not inside the engine area. I am confused how a "cold air intake", that gets the air from inside the engine area is .... better ?? -

As I mentioned in a post a while ago...... I had Yokohama on my '05 Yukon. 4 years later I needed new rubber. I went to Discount Tire. They suggested to wait a month.... The Michelin's will have their ' 4 times a year ' discount coupon. My Yokohama's were worn out, and the rubber was hard...- mountie
