    Battery Replacement a Professional Job?!

In my '05 Yukon..... Last year, I was watching the AAA roadside service guy using a 'needle nose vise grip' to remove the leads.... ( You got to be kidding)..... So I attached an 8mm to the battery, on my new AGM.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

YouTube shows some good suggestions, how to apply. Basically, spray only the surface, not the material...... Don't use your fingers to 'lay' the material against the surface, use a very soft 'rolled-up' cloth to spread the material against the surface,..... etc..... Then use a nail gun. o_O

Got Rear Ended, Need a Rear Bumper

A lot of insurance adjusters are not like what they used to be . Find a used bumper then submit the purchase & installation cost to their insurance ( plus the other damaged parts)..... ( or have your insurance cover it / then they will 'subrogate' the loss ). ( I used to do this stuff) (...

Front shock bottom mount ( replace rubber bushing ? )

Thanks..... I am not noticing any issues, because of the bad bushing, ...Maybe the problem is slight? Maybe it might seem better when it is replaced? Hard to tell, but I don't like worn out stuff. Thanks for reminding me about Moog.

Front shock bottom mount ( replace rubber bushing ? )

After replacing my front shocks, we found the left- bottom rubber bushing, attached to the A-arm, is cracked. The shock must be moving because of the bad bushing.... How is it replaced?? ( 2005 Yukon XL - 4WD )

If your dealer accepts ANY attempt to repair "as per your complaint", MAKE SURE THEY HAVE IT IN WRITING PER DEALER...... They will only attempt a factory warranty item. If they do make an attempt, and fail...... many times the 'failed repair' becomes an ongoing complaint WITHOUT A YEAR/ MILEAGE...

Why don’t my batteries last !!!!

Installed it about a month ago. Less than $300. 48 month warranty. AGM. I do have a little trickle charger if I leave it parked for more than 5 days. ( Time will tell ) Having said that, I always keep my full-size battery jumper with me at all times.

Anyone got the Black Bear AutoCal kit?

I have yet, to get justification, to spend hundreds of dollars, for a little bit better tune. I am not planning to read my 1320 foot result. My '05 XL drives fine, and not planning to gobble up gas by enjoying a speed improvement. Just an efficient performance while driving 'normal'. Is it...
