There is also a plastic nipple that slides onto one of the tee's that likes to get brittle and break off too. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000C9KTAK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1&tag=tahoeyukonforum-20...

Passenger side rear upper shock bolt - HOW??!!

I took a 22MM wrench and made a stubby out of it to get in there through the top with the fender liner removed. Yeah the fingers take an ass kicking from the impact on the front of the bolt but it works.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

No sir it’s a splined shaft that slides out of the center of the flange. There is a separate case oil seal on the outside of the flange shaft.

heater core ok? probably not. change my mind

I’d be more worried about replacing both tees don’t skip out on the other one. I haven’t once read anywhere on this forum about anyone breaking the tube seals on the heater core replacing these things.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I removed the front drive shaft. Trying to make room to access the engine for engine oil pan replacement access and worst case engine replacement.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

So I pulled mine out Saturday afternoon. Took me about 1 1/2 hours including the driveshaft. (I already had the half shafts removed.) All those inner nuts and bolts come right out, leaving the mounts behind. No need to access the top. Have to drop the crossmember from under the engine too, only...

Did you already close it up? If not maybe you can use a garden hose to pressure test it for leaks. You should be fine though I would think.

    2007 yukon denali oil leak

HAHA that's nothing mine looks like Le Brea tar pits under there but when you look though the inspection cover in the bell housing it's bone dry inside. I'm getting ready to replace the oil pan (drain plug is stripped), gasket, pickup tube o-ring and install oil diverter on the relief valve soon.

    Lube points?

Ball joints, tie rod ends, caliper slides, transfer case and diff fluids, hood & door hinges. I don't think there are fittings on the u-joints.
