I can take a look, it's possible I may have not noticed.
I've also had some other things like errant codes that would pop one day and then self-clear and never reappear again. This could be one of those things also!
For no good reason... SD card error pops up tonight concerning native navigation which now will not load. Says card is not compatible with vehicle... What?
Same one that's worked for 2.5 years ....!
Filter cup wrenches mostly suck any ways, especially the stamped ones. I use filter pliers to crack them loose and then hand tighten with a rag as tight as I can twist. They don't have to be THAT tight!
UPF66R for me also, just a much higher quality product.
If you get lots of multiple codes out of the blue that don't make sense, many times it is a connection/grounding issue or next stop, load test the battery. These are simple checks to make before you jump to other conclusions.
What's crazy is I have been in situations where I thought it WOULD slam on the brakes and it doesn't. Red warning light flashing, and a car stopped right in from of me. It flashes at me, but I've never seen it brake? I assume it will if a crash would be imminent, but on my last vehicle it would...
But Wal Mart currently has Mobil1 Dexos D EXP X2 0W-20 in 5 qt jugs for 29.97, Free delivery. Cheap as dirt. Goes in and out of stock. Can't beat it....
You should see the cars in my neighborhood.... Heck the Yukon looks like what the help should be driving. They drive Bentleys to Lowes here in SWFL. I asked a guy once at Lowes after seeing him put gallons of paint and Mulch in a brand-new Cayenne if that bothered him, He said nah, this is my...
I've seen it too many times of people that work and scrimp and save all their lives for retirement and are dead 2 years after they retire. Or people who have a big nest egg and then are "afraid" to touch it, because "it has to last"..... your kids will spend it in a New York Minute.... Trust me...
Absolutely correct. I would never take the time to shift into 4L to pull into a jobsite? Most all of the above conditions don't need maximum stump pulling or jerking along at 5-15 mph. I probably only used it on my 2500 Ram Cummins 2-3 times in 20 years.....and it did a lot more than this...
Heck mine has only been in "Auto" Twice and that's because we were on drenching flooded roads in hurricane IAN and the factory tires suck in the rain.
I don't think many people buy these things to run them thru Moab. Unless I would be pulling someone out of a deep ditch or something, (Unlikely)...
Vehicles are the biggest waste of money out there, but for some odd reason we seem to end up with a new one every 4 to 6 years. The way I look at it is….I like them… I enjoy them…. and there’s plenty of other things that other people waste money on that I don’t. if you get too old of a vehicle...
Once I make a decision on a vehicle... I stick with it. I try to make sure I'm happy with what I bought and then don't go looking... there is always something better out there.
Lots of money washes over the dam when you start trading around for something a little newer and better...
More important than Min/Max marks... Did you see any coolant in the reservoir? Uh, that's the most important thing. If you didn't then you got problems. If you did, there could be other things going on that may need a dealer to sort out....
I had my stock ones Black Gloss powder coated when new. 2 years later, still happy with choice. Still look good and clean up well if you are willing to put the work into them. Just looks like it "Fits" and get lots of compliments with the blackout look.
This is an old video and all it really proves is that this is a pretty tough engine to last that long with lousy to no real maintenance or care. Has zero to do with the engines durability or longevity if cared for......
LT tires have more plies and are somewhat unforgiving. They are a tough tire, but they compromise suppleness and ride.
if you need them, get them….. if you don’t….don’t just get them for the heck of it……
