You’ll be fine. You probably wouldn’t have a huge cost savings over say a 5.3 but if you would like or prefer the engine, then go for it.
I short trip mine for weeks on end and then take 100 mile blast. Never hear a thing out of her either way.
I also second the fact that you don’t have to fill...
But she can get directions for you, which is what I use her for mainly, and send them to the Nav. She can also look up local businesses and etc. Overall, this is much more helpful than having it change your cabin temp. I don't need voice control of my HVAC or Music....
The engine that powers 90% of the 737's/ A320's (the world's most popular planes...) in the sky, the CFM-56-7 Has a mean time of 13500 hours before any unscheduled shop service requirement. (IE; check engine light comes on...) The average 737 logs 3000 engine hours per year. Thats over 4 years...
If aircraft engines broke down like some of these examples on here, there would be dozens of crashes daily of flights….
Sorry, but from someone who worked in Aerospace for 36 years, the quality and redundancy is much higher….
Short tripping it ( less than 1 mile per trip ) for a week or so…about 18 mpg.
Normal life 23 mpg….
Head out on the hwy..@ 80 mph 27 mpg… at 65-70 over 30 mpg.
Best ever…34.6 Mpg.
Not a whimper out of it no matter how I drive it.
Ther is a dealer here in FL that advertises the same thing, but in fine print it says you have to change your oil WITH THEM every 3k miles or warranty is void. You can bet if any dealer offers a lifetime warranty on anything, there is sure to be a catch that you won't qualify for...
yes, It is not “all wheel drive“. It’s all wheel drive when it detects slippage then it becomes all wheel drive. Intermittently, in and out as needed. The front drive train is not engaged until slippage is detected even though it’s in auto.
“All wheel drive” implies that it’s all wheel drive...
When parking on slight inclines, or any reason why you would need an intermediary parking break, my park, light illuminates, and hold the vehicle right where I am. I have to tap the throttle to let it break loose.
Has anybody ever actually witnessed and seen their vehicle brake hard for emergency braking? I have seen the red light flash, but I have never actually seen or felt the brakes engage.
There are some definite product improvements in the LZ0, but by and large they are essentially the same engine. No showstoppers that would say to have one over the other. If you have either one, consider yourself lucky....
Does the vehicle exhibit the same problems in 2wd? If not, at least your problem is isolated to the drivetrain. If so, it could be a tranny software issue. It should be driven with a monitor hooked up to is to see what the output of the engine and tranny are under load. Who knows what got...
As an opinion, you need to train yourself to step up on to these to get in and out… not come at them at an angle in or out. I’ve had them 2 years and never slipped on them once.
I step up and in and on them flat to get out. I agree that they are a potentially Slippery composition though….
Yep, we drove both of our vehicles to Ft Lauderdale to save them, thank God we did. My neighbor stayed ( he usually doesn’t even put up shutters, says they are never as bad as they say…) He was dragging them out on Tuesday night in the driving rain. Barely got them up….
Says he will never stay...
I’m not downing that video, but those winds weren’t even near 75 mph in that video…. We had 135 at our house in Iona and the pond behind our homes had cresting (1-2 ft) whitecap waves on it along with the surge, and 7 out of 10 pool cages were on the ground. Just a real mess all the way around…
I paid 82K MSRP for mine in 2020 right before this 5-15K over sticker train pulled into the station. Same vehicle stickers for 95k+ currently. Just the factory price increases alone are enough to make you sick + you may get a vehicle that is missing features. Probably wouldn't pay 95 for the...
